Banana Bread Recipe
Mix:
- 3 Very Ripe Mashed Bananas
- 1/2 cup Maple Syrup
- 1/2 cup Melted Coconut Oil
- 1 teaspoon Vanilla
Blend:
- 1 cup GF Flour
- 1 cup GF Rolled Oats (blended in to a flour)
- 1 teaspoon Baking Powder
- 1 teaspoon Baking Soda
- 1 tablespoon Cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon Salt
Mix Dry and Wet Ingredients
Grease pan with Coconut Oil or Vegan Butter
Add Lots of Chocolate Chips, can be dairy free
Bake for 35-40 minutes @ 350°

    No it does not mess up the nutrients in the spinach , actually you can buy frozen spinach and it’s so much cheaper especially if it’s for that specifically. They say buying it frozen is even better nutrients wise because they freeze it at its top nutrient level and then ship rather than buying it fresh after it’s been thawed in store for a while . Learned this from actual nutritionist because I use spinach for everything.

    Fun fact: greek yogurt is actually lower in lactose than other dairy products! Plus the probiotics in the yogurt likely help with overall gut health too so less of a tummy ache! Softer cheeses and creams have higher lactose and tend to bother people more (ice cream, soft cheese like Brie, etc.) whereas butter, hard cheese like cheddar, and Greek yogurt are lower in lactose and tend to cause less pain for ppl with lactose sensitivity or intolerance! ☺️🧀

    ah didn’t mean it in that way but I see how it came across!! I’m sorry!! I meant it as most ppl would probably think it’s gross how much butter I soak my pasta in but that’s how I like it & that I feel a lot better when I mix in a vegetable or two instead of just pasta💓

    I definitely didn't take it that way, I think for you to nit pick a small comment someone made is honestly more destructive of you than her comment, when during the other 35 minutes of the video all she did was spread positivity, as if you've never once in your life made a comment like that, like come on seriously??

    The way that you prefaced the whole video with "don't compare your food to mine" is SO IMPORTANT and SO APPRECIATED, I've been struggling sooooo much with former disordered eating habits and "what I eat in a week" vids used to trigger a lot of it but hearing you say that was SO impactful and helps SO much and was just very needed

    don’t apologize for eating however you choose, the pressure nowadays is crazy. i do the same thing purposely and recently realize i don’t have to explain myself to people who don’t understand why i try to only eat twice a day with little to no snacking in between. it actually is wayyy better for your long term health fasting that way. hehe crazy how everyone just has to critique other people that do what works for them 🤷🏻‍♀️ people shouldn’t take these videos as offense or people trying to convince them of anything hahaha yeah just wanted to give you that bit of reassurance love your videos ✨✨✨💕

    ok yes love this. sometimes youtubers will post these types of videos and it's so unrealistic with their "one square of chocolate" i cant!!!! i love this I have a sweet tooth too! Good food choices and based off of what you want to eat not what you "have" to eat!

    Same I always put on a show or something. Some people say this behaviour makes you eat fast and less mindfully but I've found the opposite to be true: When I eat without any distractions I stuff my food down quickly because I get so bored lol

    You have to try the cashew milk snickerdoodle one!! If you like the cookie dough types like having chunks of gingerbread dough in a sugar cookie base and it won't hurt your stomach because it's !

    I keep my kale in the freezer for my smoothies and have never had a problem with it! It’s the best way to keep it good for longer :-))

    I love the butternut squash ravioli from Trader Joe's! After I boil them in water, I put them back in the pot and I make a light sauce with olive oil, butter, garlic, salt, pepper, parmesan, and a sprinkle of Italian seasoning. I highly recommend!

    I add banana, cacao nibs and jam to my peanut butter toast and that tastes great but my favorite topping for it are really ripe sliced fresh peaches when they’re in season 😋

    Meal that makes me feel the best....just baked cod with maybe some broccoli or spinach! Fills you up but doesn't leave you feeling gross. I like having that for lunch as anything heavy at lunch time makes me sluggish for the rest of the day.

    I love Caesar Salads. You can buy them in salad kits that come with everything. Throw everything in a bowl and toss. I add fresh ground pepper to mine. Delicious! 🥗

    Hey Gretchen! I also am pretty lactose intolerant but can handle Greek yogurt. This is because they remove most of the lactose during processing! But it has beneficial probiotics. So keeping Greek yogurt in is sometimes even beneficial if you are slightly lactose 🤩

    My Nespresso coffee doesn't get me jittery during the day (no coffee ever has) BUT I feel like I can never fall asleep, and I only drink it in the mornings! Needless to say my next pod order will have half-caf or decaf. Also my go-to snack is a Honeycrisp apple with peanut butter and dark cacao chips. It takes care of my sweet tooth!

    Try to buy only Organic Dairy. There’s a big difference! I like the brand Stonyfield. They make a 100% Grass Fed Greek yogurt that is to die for. Please try it if you can find it. The milk is cows that eat a grass fed diet. Much better for you then Dannon.

    ooooh gg I loooove a snack plate! I'm a nanny and sitting down to eat a full meal just really doesn't fit into my day. I love packing carrots and cucumber with hummus and apple and pb and some kind of crackers! it's so filling and easy to eat and ends up being fairly balanced.

    Also, one of my favorite hacks to making quick meals is once a week cooking up some grilled chicken to have on hand all week. it's not full-on meal prep but it takes the hardest part out of the equation bc you can pretty much add grilled chicken to anything! I can cook up some pasta, throw it on a salad, put it on a pizza, eat it with some veggies, put it in a quesadilla etc.

    The probiotics in yogurt help you digest the lactose. Plus greek yogurt doesn't have much lactose.

    I am loving all these meal ideas! I am very lactose intolerant, but have been able to do greek yogurt which is super nice. My favorite is the Oikos vanilla greek yogurt because it is so high in protein and low in sugar, but tastes so good. I think you would like it too!

    i did it twice in college and really liked it! it's pricey but really fun as a special treat once a month (or whatever interval you choose!) or it's great to have during finals because you know you've got a box of easy dinners ready to go. definitely a little more than i usually spent on groceries but it was worth it on occasion for me!

    I’ve tried it multiple times and it’s honestly so great! Just can get pricey! But one thing I love about them is they post all of their recipes on their website. So if your ever wanting to try a new meal, just grocery shop and follow the steps online :)

    Sometimes we just have breakfast, snack a few hours later and then have lunch/dinner around 3-4. Then if we get hungry later we’ll try to just have some healthy snacks

    nespresso is DEF more caffeine! i drink a lot of coffee and espressos but nespresso makes me go off the walls lol. if you type in “nespresso caffeine chart” on google images there’s the full chart of mg per pod!
