What I eat in a day - Slimming World - SP Plan - 6lbs off in 6 days!
After dieting with Slimming World for a couple of months and getting slow losses, I decided to try Slimming World SP plan! For anyone who doesn't know what this is, its a slightly more regimented plan which focuses more on Speed Foods and Protein Sources. You can have 1 A choice, 2 B choices and still have your 15 syns! I was amazed by the results I received in my first week, and will be continuing the plan. I'm new to KZread so a bit too scared to show my ugly mug at this point, but if I get enough questions about the plan, I might brave it and do a Q and A video! You will also see from my meals, that I am vegetarian, so I'd like to emphasize this plan is not exclusively for people who eat meat. I hope you enjoy the video.

    Oooh! Loved this, as a vegetarian it's hard to find many others doing SW. Think I'm the only one in my group, the plan seems really meat focused a lot of the time.

    I know what you mean! Before I started I didn't think I could do it because of 'red days'. The SP plan is quite a bit harder being veggie isn't it! I'll be doing more videos soon and everything will always be veggie :) x

    Miss Nia Roo yass im so happy your veggie I do slimming world but im only 14 (so its free) and I cant just ask my peers for advise I had 3 really close friends at school who was veggie and I turned veggie about 1.5 yrs. I later I really wanted to do a 5 day sp diet since I messed up today and was struggling being vegetarian and all thanks again

    I always add quark with sweetener to my porridge, when it’s made with water...yumm!!! Saves on your milk allowance.

    I'm vegetarian and doing slimming world since January and lost almost 3.5 stone but I only tried sp once and found it too restrictive. I might have another go because I'd like to up my weekly losses if I can. I don't eat quorn though or other meat alternatives because the reason I'm vegetarian is that I don't like the taste and texture of meat lol x

    Ah that makes sense, 3.5 stone is incredible! Congratulations! I definitely recommend SP, maybe you could focus more on soups, lentils and eggs? It is hard being veggie to find protein sources isnt it! xx

    Great vlog, really helpful. I've actually joined slimming world twice so far, signed up and all that but never went back each time. I dont know why as im really struggling this summer and im so depressed over how i look and feel, i cant do anything without being soaked in sweat and only have leggings, vest tops and oversized hoodies.. that i wear in this heat! Im going to be rejoining but i keep thinking im going to be the one person it doesn't work for :( I know you can eat loads but i still found myself being hungry every half hour, i weigh just under 20 stone so im used to eating a lot. I also dont want to spend a fortune. Im thinking i could measure my cereal out each morning, make a soup for lunch which would last 4 days as it serves 4 and then make a dinner and have it for the next 4 days as again it serves 4.. i just dont know if i'd leave it in the fridge or freezer as i dont know much about meal prep or batch cooking. I think the reason i dont go back is because i dont really understand it, i've looked online and in my book so many times but i just dont seem to understand it. The whole sp thing, in my book it says to add 1/3 rd of your plate or something with speed.. is that the sp thing? Like if for my breakfast i'd had free foods and again for lunch and dinner i had stuff that was free.. is that just normal slimming world? And then if i added the speed to most meals.. would that be sp? sorry i really dont get the difference. Sorry for the long message xx

    Hi Cheryl, Thanks for taking the time to comment :) I can totally relate to your message, I feel equally self conscious about my weight and like you dont have the money to spend on lots of fancy foods! Ive found buying frozen foods is a lifesaver! Just discovered you can get frozen butternut squash from Morissons which will be great for SP soups! (plus I hate cutting up butternut squash!). SP can be a bit confusing at first, I can do a video talking about it if that would help you? Basically you eat all Speed & Protein Foods only (marked with an S or P in your book) & your HEXA & 2HEXB (instead of 1 which you would usually have) and your usual syns. Slimming World does work, it just takes time :) Good Luck on your journey

    Really helpful video!! I've been trying to find out everywhere what drinks you can have on a SP day! Your video is the only one I've found that even mentions drinks on SP! So its basically a no go?

    Hi I live in Turkey and the availability of processed easy fast foods the likes of muller yogurts, pre made soups etc etc are just not available in fact we are very limited. Also calories are not often put on the products. However I have been to SW in the past before coming here and have stacks of SW cook books etc. I need to loose 2 stone as have a serious back problem which would be greatly helped if I can loose it. We have got a SW of sorts but sorry if I say it the lady In charge knows little if anything about slimming but this commend the lady for at least having a go. I am a person who has in the past had a lot to do with patients who were incapable of looking after themselves and we had to rehabilitate these people including nutritional advice so I know something about foods but I would love some advice on sp foods as I have in the past used them BUT very few times f my favourite sp foods are available. I love plaice and flat fish and lean meat but again limited in supply. Chicken is very cheap and fruit and veg is ridiculously cheap and plentiful all year round. At the moment watermelon is still available,as are many of the summer fruits that are no longer available in other countries as we are just coming into the the thirds crop of the year for some fruit and veg. Please can you help as I am desperate to loose weight. As mentioned I have a bad back as I fractured it 3 years ago and must live one weight. I am limited in exercise however I can walk as very near the promanade. HELP!!!!!!!

    Linda Jones Hi I was reading the comments and bumped in to your one. Just seach on google for slimming world sp list and you'll find it. If you want good recipes then I used brothers green on KZread and substitute the stuff I can't have for the ones I can. For example browning onion can be done with fry light or with a little water like a stew. I hate sprouts, cabbage but blended and thrown in a curry or cut very fine and chucked in a salad then I can eat them. Basically eat as much veg as possible. Meat must be lean. If you can help not eatting bread. Cut fizzy drinks. Cut as much sugar as possible. Go for fat free or reduced fat things. I hope this helps you some 👍

    Thanks :) I'm so happy, going to stick with it! :) Glad you liked the video :) The list of speed fruit and Veg is quite lengthy, have you looked at joining the website? You can search any food on there. A large proportion of veg is classed as Speed Food. Fruit contains slightly less speed food options, but all fruit is free so you cant go too wrong on that front :) Lentils are free and classed as Protein so suitable for both plans. Good luck on your journey

    Hi, where do you get the sauce used with the Quorn from? I'm a veggie doing SW but find that I'm cooking the same things over and over again, I love spice so the sauce may help to make some meals more interesting 🙂

    Hi, sorry for the late reply! The sauce is called siratcha and I got it from sainsburys but i think they sell it at most major supermarkets! Its very spicy but I find spice helps me limit my cheese intake, which for me is a big issue! Good luck with your journey :)

    well done on your loss and great video too ive lost 3st7.5lb so far since jan but struggling to get the last 6.5 off for target always great to see other people's ideas for sp weeks if you like a little spice i recommend the multi bean chilli from the vegetarian book 1 pan will last me 3-4 days and is sp good luck with the rest of your journey

    Eating on SW as a vegetarian is not difficult. Where you disappointed me was in promoting something like carrot soup (a glorified veg smoothie) as SP. Where was the Protein. This is when SW/SP reverts to being a diet

    Jojo H Are you going to group? Write down everything you're eating and give them to your consultant at your weigh in. They will look at it and tell you what to improve on etc

    Jojo H If you are working out at the same time then your body is burning the fat but adding muscles which weight more then fat. Measure your waist and see if your toning up 👍
