Back in the Pleistocene era when I took Home Ec in high school, our teacher said most families have about ten recipes they use over and over. I suspect the reason so many families are so resistant to trying WFPB is because they tend to keep their fridge/freezer and pantry stocked with the SAD ingredients, and making the environment more important than the self-discipline becomes a stumbling block.

You're right, everyone I know who resists going plant based has said they'd have to get rid of too much stuff and learn to cook from scratch! My SIL even stopped inviting me over for occasions because she "didn't know how to cook for me"! I sarcastically assured her if she knew how to bake a potato or steam some veggies, I'd be good. LOL
There are a few tweaks you need to know for the Creami. Let it thaw a few minutes or run outside with hot water. Make sure the surface is flat (scrape with a spoon). First run is “ice cream”, if dry and flakey make a well in the middle and add a little plant milk. Second spin is “re-spin”. Press left overs flat before re-freezing. The amount of creaminess depends on the “fat” in the recipe. Even a tablespoon of peanut butter has the needed fat to make it creamy. Also can use white sweet potatoes. Kathy Hester is the queen of the creamy!!!

I love that you don’t explain every little detail and you keep moving so we can follow along when in a rush! Thank you!
Reebs killed me with the “Everybody’s so creative” 🤣🤣🤣 Loved all the goodies you made!!
Suggestion, guys. For the quinoa breakfast. If you want to eat it what they made, prep it the night before and either set a timer or as soon as you wake up and get up, turn it on then get a shower, walk the dog, meditate, exercise, journal I mean wow you can get so much done while waiting. Thats what I tell my clients.

Yes, that is such good tip!
Love the Creami! The hubby’s favorite is just a can of pineapple. Makes a wonderful pineapple sherbet texture. Mine is sweet potato pie ice cream. Orange Sweet potatoes, bananas, molasses, cinnamon, ginger, allspice. It’s awesome and gets really thick and creamy because of the sweet potatoes.
You are an amazing couple! 💕💕Thank you for all you do help guide us to live a lifestyle that is healthy and simple.
It took one video to declutter and then reclutter the recipe door 😂 All of these look so good! I made banana, cherry, cacao nice cream and topped it with cacao nibs and chopped roasted hazelnuts, my fave!
Always look forward to your videos, not only for the yummy wholesome recipes but for simply the lovely vibes you both carry ☺️ Much love and light 🤍✨

I made the Quinoa Berry Bake for breakfast this morning -- did the prep for it last night. Wow! It's really good. I halfed the recipe and ate all of it! Highly recommend.
I'm one of those weird people that has never liked ice cream so I'll stick to real fruit and the occasional smoothie so I can get more greens in. But... that little boy might just LOVE a treat like that! The things we do for a kids.
I bought my ninja creamer about a year ago and it’s one of the best kitchen appliances I have. It makes the best banana nice cream an sorbet that can be made at home. I love it. I will never make nice cream in my Vitamix again.
The Ninja Creami is a game changer! Love that thing.
“Oh! Everyone’s so creative!” Reebs!😂 Great reference!!
I'm thinking it would be a good idea to have two of these to accommodate the seasons in my area--a meal rotation for winter and another one for warmer months. Also, I hadn't made the connection between my dislike, and sometimes inability, to make a choice about a meal to decision fatigue! I'm excited to try this meal planner!

I've been thinking about breaking things up by season too! It's autumn now and all I want is hearty stew here in the Pacific Northwest. But in the summertime, all I want is salad. Great idea!
That veggie gravy idea is BRILLIANT!! Top a back potato with THAT!!!!
Exact same feelings on the creami! I don’t need yet another darn machine in my kitchen. My Breville food processor makes brilliant, creamy nice cream, I love it! There’s been plenty of hype in the sos world on it but still I’ve thought, no way. Had I seen it at a super price at Costco I would have probably done the same thing and tried it. I’m glad you guys did though, I won’t do it now. My nice cream looks so much better and I love it so - solved! Recipe cards are SO generous, thank you so much guys! 🤗

I agree! I also make nice cream in my food processor (Breville) and the consistency is perfect. The trick for me is to NOT add ANY plant milk. I put the frozen banana in, wait 10-15 min for it to slightly defrost, then process with a bit of vanilla extract. If I want mix ins, I add them at this point. Voila, perfect nice cream!

@@justplants4me Sounds perfect but now I’m seeing Jill over at WFPBCS raving about the cremi and I may be starting to buckle lol! Between Jill and Dylan I know I’m getting straight-forward honesty and no hidden agendas when it comes to their sage advice. For now I’m going to try your technique because I have always thought a splash of plant milk was the answer. Thanks! 😀
My dad was just diagnosed with diabetes. I wonder if he would be willing to try your breakfast bake. He is still craving treats, and I am trying to teach him the difference between healthy and unhealthy. Everything looks amazing! I could really go for the cheesy casserole!!

Love no fuss cooking....😊 Been vegan for years...i love cooking stews and cottage pies in winter. Tofu marinated and fried with salads etc Wraps, bean burgers, chilli meals, lentil soups,
I fought getting the Creami, when I caved I got it from Costco. Didn’t want to but I gotta say I LOVE this darn thing.I’ve made unheard of flavors..like using honeydew chunks, banaba, bit of milk, vanilla…sometimes maple or dates, I just made orange dreamsicle. I bought extra bowls so I can choose what I feel like at the time. Kathy Hester is the Creami Grand Master. Clean enough to eat for breakfast if that’s your thing. Makes the best clean endless flavors ice cream for all seasons. Give it a serious try before giving up. Luka could have a blast 🙂.

Unfortunately, we are unable to ship our products internationally at this time. It turns out shipping food products internationally is quite challenging due to various customs regulations.
Love your approach to easy healthy meals, including the new meal rotator. I usually decide what to cook by buying produce that looks good, then at home I check my paprika app and search for that ingredient but… still too many possibilities. Reebs, I’d love a set of 2-3 recipes based on specific veggies and using basic pantry and freezer ingredients. Got an eggplant? Here’s two choices for a sure fire quick dinner. Got cauliflower? Got a pack of mini bell peppers? Too much watermelon or cantaloupe? Maybe get a little adventurous like a fennel bulb. You could use the same freezer and pantry items used in the meal rotator like frozen chopped onions, cheater garlic, canned beans, canned tomatoes, slaw mix, spice blends. Not exactly another meal rotator, but maybe you’ll get inspired to do something with this idea…
Thank you! I love you two!!

To stop burning eyes while chopping onions spit under or next to your stove vent with it on. Works for me.
I have made the Irish Stew three times now. I always make to much but its ok because I don’t mind eating it everyday. I do change mine up a little. I use mushroom broth instead of veggie stock. I use Shiitake mushrooms as well as baby bellas. I add a little bit of liquid aminos too for a little deeper flavor. I shared with a friend today and she loved it. Im going to add barley next time just for fun. Sprouts has a chefs mix of different mushrooms so going to try those too. This is by far my favorite dish!!!

Yesssssss! Selling recipe cards is a great idea! 💯🙌 As much as I like having recipe books, I am planning on taping recipes to my cupboard door like you do. I love the idea of laminating them and putting them on a ring. If you do end up selling them, maybe we could just hole punch them if they're already sturdy enough to put on a ring. I'm working on creating a meal idea board for myself because my brain just needs some extra help. I used to be a kindergarten teacher and I feel like it's going to be something I could've used with my students. 😃

I think that buying gadgets that do one thing is ok if you will really get use out of it. I love making ice creams and smoothie bowls which I do in a food processor, but this looks like it defiantly gives a better texture so if you use it then it's worth it!
