Perhaps with her new family there is a desire for more privacy, yet I agree! I so admire Elle's ability to always quickly nest and create standards for her well being. A great reminder to make the day to day practical and beautiful.

Can I just say I love your cooking style/food choices! I love that you cook with butter, eat bread and cheese etc. food that is actually delicious and satisfying!

I can relate to your outfit! Clothes postpartum was a trial and error for me. The weight came off slowly but the inches took even longer. I agree wholeheartedly to comfort over anything.

So lovely to see a ne video from you, Gigi is gtting so big!! I always enjoy your cooking, I have never seen you cook or bake something that I was like "nah"...and I dont even eat fish or seafood lol. (Allergic|) I highly recomend growing fresh basil it is very hearty, I have really good luck with it and you could easily grow lettuce in those litle platers attached to your deck railing. I bought a verticak garden last summer wow it is amazing, I am really blown away how easy it is to grow many things, I did tomatoes, Strawberries, 3 types of lettuce, red peppers, and a bunch of herbs, and several other root veggies. The lettuce blew me away at how fast it grew and you just keep clipping it off and its like a hair cut or that chia pet thing, ha ha in 2 hours with some water and good sun there is a few new inches of new lettuce already grown, in 48 hours you can almost harvest again. We at a lot of salads all summer and it was pretty cool to be able to supply my own lettuce, cucumers, tomatoes and other things ! I encourage you to just buy the starter plants ( I get mine here in Ontario at Sobeys, so I suspect you should be able to buy them there at a grocery store. They just come in a bag with the roots well started and there will already be some lettuce growing, this is what I did to start my whole vertical garden. I just am not ahead of the curve enough to start from seed. What I eat in a day are one of my fave type of videos from you :)

I bake all the bread my small family eats and I can tell you, different types of flour will produce different results. The all purpose flour (480 type) works great, it produces a softer bake, and bonus point, if you want an extra soft crust, brush your bread loafs with an egg wash and put it on a lower rack if your oven runs hot. Other types of flour such as 700 types, or whole wheat, etc. Produce a crustier, hardier bread and also need more time to prove due to their higher gluten content. I sometimes make the dough the evening before, leave it on the counter for 30 minutes to give the east some time to do it's thing, then I put it in the fridge in a covered bowl over night . The next day you take it out, form the bread, and let it prove a little bit ( 30-45 minutes) before baking

Lovely to see you again! Though completely understand wanting to prioritize being as present with Gigi as possible so no pressure to make content that doesn’t align with your life at the moment! I feel that PP clothing comment - nothing was more depressing to me than trying on my old clothes that I was looking forward to wearing again when I got home from the hospital. Embracing that it’ll be a while before some of my wardrobe is going to feel good again was tough, but just ordered some size up bottoms because you’re so right we deserve to be comfortable. I’ve been loving adding white beans to a pasta salad with Sundried tomato, asparagus, arugula, dill, basil and a lemony feta vinaigrette. They add the creaminess and protein - so good and filling!

Can I ask whether Gigi goes to daycare or if you have a nanny? Sorry to intrude, I’m asking because God willing I’m expecting my first in a few weeks and I’m trying to figure out whether I’ll be able to work from home effectively whilst looking after her I don’t know what to expect!

Not intrusive, Gigi has a wonderful nanny who was upstairs with her during the video. I want to protect nanny’s privacy but also happy to acknowledge how helpful having her is! She only comes for a few hours a day now, but as Gigi grows up a bit more she will come for longer. 💗

It depends on how much your baby naps haha. Gigi sleeps very well during the night but hard core resists more than a short nap. Therefore we need more nanny hours than we thought we might haha. I feel like the luckiest person in the world to get to be home with her most of the time though, so grateful for that.

I tried a new nail gel kit and wasn’t a fan which is why I actually edited out clips relating to it because it really damaged my nails. I don’t remember what I used to fix it but I think it’s a regular polish you see at beginning and end; lighting just makes it look different.

Watching that pasta boil was strangely satisfying. How did the chicken end up tasting?

Good! The sauce was perfection. I’d make it without rolling it up next time, and pan fry flat so you get the crispy prosciutto 🤤

I made it myself, just toss 1 pack feta in food processor along with 1 spoon of sour cream or yoghurt and some olive oil

Girl, you need a new oven, it’s relatively not that much money and it’s way worth it for someone who regularly uses it. We moved into our new house last year and also had an issue where it was too hot, more specifically i feel like the temp couldn’t be controlled well enough and/or showed inaccurate. Get a new oven 😊
