Dot regulations actually mean very little. Fortnine has a great video about this. Dot/snell- bare, bare bare minimum. Ece- good, FiM, great.

Hi, Good video, I really like the looks of the Dual Sport Helmet the face colour of the shade reminds me of a fly, it's kool. I ride my e bike with a VCAN™ Open Face Helmet most of the time and VCAN™Helmet with a Face Visor for colder/rainy days, both are DOT certified and came with protective bags which I keep them in when not using them. I use the VOSS 601 D2 as well and it is the best helmet for what I ride. 12000w Thunder MK2

That last one is awesome! I went with the FLY Racing lightweight that's similar, flat black with contrasted lettering. Pretty sweet

you can tell you really dig getting this stuff and unboxing it lol. the excitement shines through man. love you passion for this stuff my friend. i come from a background in dirtbikes and stuff so i can understand it. im pushing 40 now so ill be getting the Talaria xXx here in a few more weeks

Is it worth the money?

Been on a Surron daily since 2020, won’t leave without a full face and goggles or visor. Even in the summers in southern Nevada. I have the same voss model as well and a Ruroc berserker which I think has been discontinued

I've been running my Leatt Enduro on my MX4 and its been a super nice. I know helmets that split at the chin have there limits but super nice if i dont want a full face all the time.

Half cuts shouldnt even be in the discussion. Those " e bikes" are motocyles and there is no discussion around it. Full face or no face.

I half disagree. Full face is better protection for sure but for going like 50kph I don't know if it's necessary

Yeah 40mph e bike, full face is absolutely necessary. What are you talking about? A lot of them are street legal too just like mopeds, they have turn signals, break lights, everything.

What mic do you have on your shirt? been looking into wireless mics since I keep getting chirped in the comments sayin I'm trying to be a surronster clone lol, when in reality I just have my panda mic for the gopro permanently mounted in my full face

I use the anker work wireless mic. You can store audio to the receiver and it has different levels of noise cancellation. 15 hrs of use per mic. On sale now. I linked it below. Also, don’t let the haters bother you. I have seen Surronster comment on people videos who wear a helmet mic and he says he likes their style etc. He isn’t bothered by it, and that’s all that matters 😊 amzn.to/3E1m2f9

Thank you for this- I’ve been trying to figure out which helmet would work best - I’ve been using a mountain bike helmet but feel like I need something more solid - gonna check out the Voss dual sport.

Currently I'm helmetless but I've been looking for a good helmet that can go between BMX and electric toys, pretty much an all-around helmet.... Awesome video, thanks Mike. 😁👍 Edit: That first one is nice but I really like the second one... How much are they and do they have a tinted/smoked face shield instead of the oil slick¿?

Thanks man! Yeah, you can basically get any type of set up when it comes to the eye protection. I’m gonna ride both of them over the course of the next 30 days and give a really good idea of what to expect out of both of them depending on your riding style. @@MikeFede - Nice.... I'll be looking forward to your video about them so I can make a decision. IDK if I'd prefer goggles or a shield but I think a smoke shield w/ the tinted drop down shades would work pretty good.... I'm mostly riding street so a full face shield might be a necessity. IDK if you've ever done 30 to 40 mph behind a vehicle on the street... The dirt and road dust gets all through your hair, ears, nose and mouth, it sucks. LoL

I wear a dual sport helmet with my e bike it's got the visor and sun visor built into it, I don't wear a half face helmet, but I wear my DOT certified dual sport helmet for my e bike the thing I hate the most about it is the sun visor is to short meaning you have to move the helmet down on your face to get a very good clear view when using the sun visor, and it's fixed sun visor meaning you can't take it off and replace it with a bigger one but overall I like the helmet you can also convert it into a street bike, dirt bike, MTB helmet also where you can remove the visor in it not the sun visor and wear moto goggles with it which i think is very cool in my opinion ILM which is the brand

What was the finish on the visor for the dual sport?

My favorite full face helmet is the Bell Super Air or Super 3R. It’s super light like your Fox helmet and great in the summer. It also has latches to remove it quickly in a pinch (like a bee flying in). Great video! I don’t comment much, but I’ve been really enjoying your content. I just got the G-Force T7 pre-release to review. Have you done a range test on it yet? 😂 It’s gonna take me a month to complete that!

The way I see it, if you see people riding without a helmet... they probably don't have much of a brain to protect anyway.

why just we cant use moto helmets? why cuz people will say oh hes wearing moto helmet for bike?

As an older person I have to be able to ware glasses. Some of your helmets don't look like that that would be even possible.

E-bikes are for lards.
