    So I’m still a little new to resin and you were talking about how one of the resins was clear and one was not. Is that really because one mold is shiny and the other is matt? I’m baffled. lol. Love the video. Such a cool experiment to show us why not to pour over fresh flowers.

    I love your question! Yes, a shiny mold will produce a shiny casting while a matte mold makes a matte casting. The resin picks up on the finish of the mold itself. So if the mold is scratched, the resin casting will also pick up those scratches. I’m so glad you enjoyed the video ❤️
