I love neopets. I was in a group chat with 2 friends, and one asked "what are neopets" and I said "the definition of bootiful" and started saying random neopet names. She left for a while.

A cool background story for Zombie Hannah could be that she was so obsessed with grabbing as much gold/treasure as possible that it ended up killing her. Like the weight of the treasure was too much while climbing, and she fell to her death because she let her greed consume her. :]

Yah me too. This is only my opinion gere but I kids liked the first ones face width smile better then the super curvy one Felt more like it could bite your head your head off since it was hungry. Still they all look like something you might touch because you can't resist even though you know if doesn't like you

I remember my webkinz username and password from I don't even know how long ago.

I still play Neopets at 20 years old ! A lot of people still do actually o: but yes a lot of the old parts of the websites are broken . There are definitely still moderators and they are as strict as ever, lol . They even gave us a new plot recently !! I’d like to hope Neopets is far from dead, it just needs some maintenance and updating ~

I absolutely loved neopets growing up, but I only had the stuffed toys from McDonald's and some cards that I still own. I think I made a account on the website years ago, but I was too young to remember it.

Neopets taught me HTML when I was 9. LOL Had to get that sonic fandom page decked out. OH GOD, HANNAH. I loved her games. ;-; OOH. OOH. I had a crush on Garret from the... Meraqua? Storyline. Got my pre-teen heart all a-flu- oh god I just realized my fiance reminds me of him. o-o He's like a combo of Garret and George of the Jungle. I'm having some terrible revelations here.

There's a site called Marapets that essentially started as an off-brand neopets, but I used to play it SO SO MUCH when I was younger. Like CONSTANTLY. 7 year old me lived for that site. AND it is still going to this day ! It's updated with new features and games and such constantly and the art keeps getting better !

I use FireAlpaca, or try to. I was never taught how to use digital programs because I have only ever practiced on actual paper. So, I don't know how to remove certain layers or do much of anything. Looking for a friend. 😣😓

Even though I didn’t play neopets I still really enjoyed the video! Gosh your art is amazing!

Yeah it helps the contrast, but it also helps to see imperfections in the drawing. Some people change the background, some people flip the orientation, some do other things.

Your Kacheek, especially in the early sketch phase, looks like a character from OFF. Whether this is good or not is up to you.

Did you ever play the Neopets console game "Neopets: The Darkest Faerie" for the PlayStation 2? I played Neopets back in the day as well, and hearing where you're explaining how Hannah and The Pirate Caves felt the most like a video game reminded me that there was also an actual game made of it. If you've never played it before, I would actually highly recommend it even if the graphics do not stand the test of time, and it's game mechanics are terrible, and the dialogue a bit cheesy, all when compared to today's games. It is still super whimsical and cute and goes into Neopets lore -- if you ever got into that as a kid -- it's quite nostalgic especially if you played it before or played Neopets at large when you were little. It's playable for its story, lore, whimsy, and world building, however I'd have to say its greatest merit is its music. They feature many places from the Neopets map, including my favorite, The Haunted Forest, renamed in the game as "Werelupe Woods" do to the large amount of Halloween painted Lupes. Speaking of, they get very creative with the usage of brushed pets and pet designs. You should try it if you'd ever like some new mixed in with some old in kind of a hybrid nostalgia trip!
