I love how all of the side characters are the people from the logs. I always imagined that Jacob Temple was the dead engineer you find sitting in a chair in Engineering. Thought it was cool to actually see him and Elizabeth.

Issac has different dialogue if you kill the hunter and complete its side quest to discover who it is.

We love it when there is dynamic dialouge based on factors of objectives and health and situation

The rough static sound at the start of the video calls always gives me a scare, I always think that there's a necromorph behind me or something

Please do comparison between completing nicole side mission vs never did. I wanna see the different interaction when isaac encounters nicole

There isn't one, because you can't complete that side mission until after you first encounter her.

@@ClonedGamer001 I think they mean the scene where Isaac mentions to Nicole that he saw her recordings and stuff, that scene most likely has a unique dialogue in case you didn't do her side mission

I created the enzyme first, didnt know they took the time….i love it when games do this

The developers behind DSR remake pay wayyyyy lot more attention to details than those behind Callisto Protocol. I can say nothing more than genuine respect. Pretty sure those who made Callisto, if given the chance to remake DS, would just let things slide with the same "you got the enzyme" dialog even when the player haven't gone through the making process.

@@PepperPotxx it isn't tbh. Melee battle sucks then you fight more than one enemy. And bosses? Same boss 2(or 3) times? Callisto had all potential to be good, but it's just not great

Wow! Props to these developers. I love these subtle and natural changes depending on what the player does. That is what game design should be. Also, well made video. Keep it up! Side note: I find it kind of weird that Cross would refer to her own team as "wheezers". I know that's the official name for those necromorphs, but it doesn't sound like the kind of term a doctor would use, especially when talking about people she worked with and probably cared about. This is the end of my little tangent

Maybe someone on her team called them wheezers and silently agreed they will think up a better name later. Now she's the only one left so she calls them wheezers because... well that's all anyone in her team came up with...

I think she called them that to make it clear to Issac how to identify them, since their specificly always wheezing its makes it easier for Issac to know who he's injecting.

This was one of the few things that just annoyed me in the remake that kept me from giving a solid 10/10. It explains literally everything to the point where the necromorphs might as well just be normal wildlife since everyone has a an explanation and thesis on why they exist (a bit of an exaggeration but you get what I mean, and the Chen thing where he yolos everything as if he's a special made BOW by Umbrella like Nemesis should have at least have him turn into a damn beast fused with Hammond like the Graverobber concept from the Downfall Movie.)

Wait Elizabeth Cross is alive in the remake? That's a suprise change

She was alive in the original but by the time you reach her and Temple, Mercer had already killed her and was about to do the same to him. But yes this really expands on the side characters and is effective world building. It's cool that we actually get to see a lot of these events play out before our eyes.

This will make players play this again and again to discover alternate routes...

I'm glad it's not just a 1 for 1 with better graphics.

It's mentioned that it grows itself out from a dead sample and doesn't need to be only human tissue. It absorbed everthing in food storage and used it to grow.

makes me wonder if there is special dialogue where you start the enzyme prompt the E. Cross chat then go get it.

I retrieve not the Enzyme? And the doors stay closed. They say: Synthesis complete. Please retrieve enzyme from workstation. I don't get it. Can somebody help me ?

Glenn rushed the game and it's the O.G Dev's made Callistol.

I can honestly say I have never been more wrong in my life. When the remake was announced I thought it wasn't necessary and didn't expect much...but Motive proved me wrong big time. I can say this is tied with Resident evil 1 remake for the best remake ever made. And that's saying something because I consider that game to be the pinnacle of survival horror.

So you get one different dialogue line 😂 I created it first without realising.

That’s nice to say man but you need to really check yourself if you forgive an extremely scummy company just cause they made one good game.

Not creating the enzyme is the natural video call to happen, IDK why you act like ANYONE created it before trying to go to food storage. the game leads you right to the food storage door with ZERO prompts or making it a choice what to do first. the clairvoyance system legit makes you get told to go back and make the enzyme. they put the video call where you already have it as a way to counteract players who decide to get it first most likely on a second playthrough with prior knowledge of the coming task. so yeah. Id wager about 95% of first time players got the first video call and only on new game plus had the forethought to try to create the enzyme first. other than that the probably less than 5% of players who did create it first did it completely by accident by not looking at the clairvoyance line and ignoring the ingame mission prompts or because someone told them they would have to do it. In closing, me big mad, you wrong gamer man.

P.S. I only know this because Im dogshit at navigating the game and use the blue line like every 2 steps to make sure Im going where I'm supposed to. the game led me right to the door and told me I was too big of a bitch to fight the monster without the enzyme, cue mission failed and now new mission that takes like 30 mins to get back to the door and finally get thru it.

I didn't even know you could go into the food storage room without making the enzyme before watching this video. I just remembered the dude saying they needed liquid nitrogen to make the enzyme and seeing the giant blue panel saying "CREATE ENZYME" right as you enter the room and thinking "Oh, naturally, I should make this enzyme."

@Bladewing but you have to do a whole shitload of stuff to get that liquid nitrogen. How you managed to legit complete a full side mission before the promt is crazy. I know they really planned that for a new game + player but you are a rare breed sir. Congratulations.
