I almost drowned in my friend's pool in elementary school, but luckily I was strong enough to pull myself out of the pool by grabbing onto the ledge.

Ti Fit well that’s because there is air in your lungs. So if you are legit drowning, your lungs can’t hold air safely and then can’t float.

I almost drowned in a swimming pool its like i feel like i feel like i was relaxed and didnt do anything then my dad grabbed me really fast then water came out of my mouth i coughed and it hurt my throat then all the water came out i was glad my dad got me in time he said he jumped in the pool the grabbed me really fast he was a body builder and im not overweight so he can grab or lift me easily i was so glad i didnt die and that my dad looked at the pool seeing me drowning well if he didnt see me i would have fallen unconcious i was ok now i have no issues in my body im healthy

I have drowned before, kinda hard to explain.. because once drowned the only thing you want is how to breathe (with your nose and mouth) but it happen inside the water.

When I almost drowned in the lake when swimming I was panicking and clawing my chest until it left mini-wolverine claw marks then I reached the surface thankfully. I will never fully comprehend how people don’t panic or try to save themselves before exhaustion

By the time our brain does that we have too much water in our lungs

I'll share my own experience. When I was drowning, I started to panic then I was coughing and I swallowed some water and despite my all efforts on trying to get near the shore, it was no use. The water tried to drag me down and I was so tired that I cant swim anymore and my vision started to go bright. Luckily, the waves then pushed me to the shore. And I lay down on the beach as I recovered my energy again.

One time I was at a pool party with one of my older brother’s friends and I was on a float and they knocked me off but I was lucky because even though he had all of his clothes on my dad came in to save me. (I also drank water instantaneously because I was like four or five)

Once I tried to go under a 5 ft floaties that was heavy and pop up on the other side but i got trapped because i was at the corner of the pool and the wall was blocking I started to lose breath and kicked around and felt pain on my upper chest (lungs) and I used ally might and pushed the giant floaties off while coughing real hard.
