Sometimes the beta can seem shit but it's just not updated with all the fixes yet. So the current beta build isn't a clear measure for the game being ready to launch.

This is Activision Blizzard... as someone who also plays call of duty nah there are exactly as many bugs as i expected

Will you prepare enchants before launch? powerful stats etc. and will you be rolling rocket boots or run speed increase? will we travel alot by foot? thanks for a great channel!

Also, commendations of service, which you get based on the old marks of honor (warson, ab etc) will convert directly to gold so if you have any left and you want some honor, now is the time to convert them. Just checked this on the PTR

Quickly done the math: Frost and Triumph is converted .47 silver per point, NOT Emblem. In the mail u get the money for the emblems more then 346 and the letter also says "per point".

Tbf keeping scourgestones in is good for anyone rerolling in the prepatch and just getting a nice set of gear to do 80-81 in so its not totally miserable. Those early little bits can be quite painful.

Gammas don't need you to click the disc, betas do. With Gammas you're transported to the instance and you start your run.

can we level up our profession right away on pre-patch? I'm thinking of turning all the rest of emblems to primordial saronite so I can level up BS, LW or Tailoring by crafting ICC pattern

Ive been trying to grind heroics and gammas to get some heirlooms and the emblem cap, but it's so radioactive right now. So many boosted/undergeared people queuing as tank or healer and/or people who don't pay any attention to mechanics.

Oh God so it's not limited to the reg heroics, had a Blood tank who didn't pay attention and kept a full runic bar and a newly boosted holy pally healer we didn't even clear the first boss of Culling before the timer finished.

I am running into “copy fail” message on ptr for my main…all alts are copying…Not sure if thats happening elsewhere but thats the breaks

PTR mage works as intended. While im criting 60k on arcaneblast after arcane blast. Its hard to get fireball critting. After lucky attempt full cd+trinket ans 3 crits in a row, i got 2k combustion rolling

is ICC swapping to single week lock outs with prepatch? meaning currently we can do 10 and 25 in teh same week on the same character, will that be possible after pre-patch or will we stuck picking one or the other. if we're stuck picking one or the other are they going to drop the 25 man loot on 10 man? if not thats kind of lame.

There is no phase 2 prepatch. Just one for cata classic

The Stone Keeper Shards to Honor conversion rate is an indicator that Wintergrasp Badges will likely go down in Honor value. 300 Stone Keeper Shards => 480 Honor 10 Badges => 500(?) Honor

Does anyone know if the deathwing event will happen in prepatch where he flies around the world and burns people. you could get an achievement by dying to the fire

On P servers it was 1650 for hands and shoulders and then 2200 or 2250 for chest+legs

Looks like 310% speed still isnt free with a pre-obtained 310% Mount on PTR either :(

If you continue to do the Daily Heroic every day in the prepatch, the Weekly every week and go ICC once a week, for example, then it would be illogical to hold 346 Frost or Triumph emblems without a soft cap, right? My math was the following per week: 7 times Daily hc => 7 x 24 = 168JP Weekly => 138JP ICC => 12 x 24 = 288JP So you would get 594JP per week. Assuming you do the above for the 3 weeks in the prepatch, you would still get 1782JP before cata release. So after the 3 weeks I would also reach the cap of 4000JP if I only keep 192 Frost or Triumph emblems before the conversion. (192 x 11,58 = 2223) + 1782 = 4005 My point is the following: If I only keep 192 Frost or Triumph emblems, I can downrank 154 more emblems and thus get 154 x 5.5G = 847G more. Is my train of thought correct?

That doesn't even include leveling with cata dungeons which some might do, they give even more justice points than wotlk dungeons. I'm likely going to completely clear my frost/triumph so I start from 0 JP. Though even if you keep enough emblems to cap JP, you can still spend JP excess on the new cata mats from the vendor, but I don't see this being as lucrative as just letting the conversion happen on lesser emblems. As hypnotic dust as an example is 100 JP, which is equivalent to roughly 9 emblems with the conversion rate (which if you those 9 emblems to convert would net you around 50g), but will hypnotic dust be selling for 50g each on the AH? Very unlikely it'll be that inflated. So personally I see no purpose to being JP capped (or possibly keeping any at all) unless you don't intend to do wotlk dungeons/raids at all in the prepatch, nor cata dungeons while leveling. This also assumes there's no JP awarded from quests, I don't recall if that was a thing but you did get heroism emblems from some quests in wotlk is what made me think of it

But yeah if there's anything more useful that JP could be spent on perhaps this thought process is irrelevant and worth getting the cap to spend on said item, but all the new gear has 85 level requirements so you can't buy any of that ahead of time, I didn't see anything else worthwhile purchasing

Blizzard had announced that the arena points would be converted in the patch. but they didn't stick to that and really screwed us over and have already converted all arena points. there wasn't even an off-season. With 10k ap and 75k hp you now have 0k ap and 75k hp. 🤡

Triumph and Frost emblems will turn into 5.5 gold per as well after the 350 mark. 11.48(points per emblem)x 47.5(silver per point) is 5.5 and some change. You're getting the same amount of gold regardless of conversion

On PTR it is per JP - got around 1150g for 212 emblems

Dont forget you just get 35 copper for each honor point not 35 silver like in original cata

HEIRLOOMS aregear you buy on your main that can be used on any toon on your account (so long as they have the proficiency). these items change their stats to fit the level the toon that wears them is. They aren't exactly the best item for any given level but they are really good all around gear pieces, and some have exp buffs (the main appeal of these items).

Yeah that was fucking bullshit, I had like 8k arena points and got nothing for them since I was honour capped anyway, wth. And then reducing excess honour to 35 copper so even if I did get something for thgem it would have been a joke

Its 375 HP to 250 JP And u can buy 352 pvp gear for HP, instead the shitty conversion. Well, i have 100 WG Commendations stock... have to gear 2 chars instantly. Maybe need to grind some more 😅

I remember justice points becoming less valuable pretty early in cata if you did all the rep and heroics. I was planning on using sks for pvp gear to get a leg up on that scene. I guess the value is just having banked points to drop at will.

Ofc they lose all the value, but i'll join raiding with 2 chars heroic from first ID, so i wanna queue up for hc instances to get gear right after lvl 85 ding. Questing gear doesn't lift your ilvl high enough for rdf

Depends on your server sadly My old server I was making bank just doing dungeons cause ye they were 200 gold worth and easy to get. But my current server it's all the way down to 50 gold.. So just ass
