Now this is in the top of my drama list..The theme for the Drama is Amazing.. I missed my dad so much.. I love their Characters so much and the actors and actresses are so good.. We loved them.. we cried when they cried.. We laughed.. This is a masterpiece.. We loved it!!!!

Agree the best drama. At first i want to watch only because namjihyun and parkhyungsik but the story was amazing.

Watched this in 2019 and this series really hits you right in the feels. Thanks to this series I now know that I need to be a better son to my parents. The cast is incredible and did a fantastic job.

Wow...it feels like I’ve been through everything with the Cha family and friends. So many ups and downs, mainly downs, but the up moments were even more precious because of that. Thank you for creating such a wonderful drama and sharing the lives of those lovely characters. Dalbong especially shined in this episode and I’m more than happy that he got his moment...I’m not gonna spoil anything now...I love the Cha siblings so much. Dalbong, the lovable baby maknae who’s just like his father, the most relatable character to us young folk, and my favorite character; Gangjae, the cold professional with a warm heart of gold, and Gangshim, our elegant and beautiful heroine who is the backbone of the family. This finale was perfect, meaningful, and crafted with such heartfelt care. Thank you again.

The best weekend family drama ever. I've never seen and enjoyed a drama that is 50+ eps like I enjoyed this one. It was great from the very first episode to the last. Good story line and cast. I loved everything about it, the comedy, sad moments, and craziness as well as the mixed emotions I had during it.

how can the main vocal of an idol group act tone-deaf so well lmfaoooo. dambi saying she can't sing or dance made me cry in laughter as well HAHAHA regardless, this was a really solid conclusion to a really solid drama. definitely the best weekend drama i've seen, thank you kbs for all the laughs and tears and most importantly, the lessons.

They must have something in their contracts about singing. You should hear Yoochun "sing" in Missing You. Even when he was on Real Men and participated in entertainment shows he only sang a child's song in a bumble costume with Sam Hammington. He never showed his idol side on that show.

Sunbong Abeoji's illness was a great blessing to the family. His illness brought his family together. Despite the short time he had, he died very happy :) I've been watching a lot of dramas for as long as I can remember but I've never cried and laughed this much. The script was so real and very well written and the actors were all great! I'll surely watch this again in the future.

I finally finished this drama. It didn't took me awhile because the story is really good that I keep watching it. But I tried to slow down towards the end because the feels are too much and I don't want it to end so soon. I loved every bit of this drama. Though at the start, what keeps me watching is Dalbong and Seoul, but I really liked every character. We can learn something from each of them. And they're all really great actors. I would probably rewatch this next time, especially my favourite scenes. Like most of the viewers, this drama had made such a positive impact to me. The singing contest had me laughing so hard. But when it was the father's turn, my tears just couldn't stop. THANK YOU SO MUCH TO EVERYONE WHO MADE THIS DRAMA POSSIBLE.

It's 2018 and I am still desperately watching this show, It took me forever to finish it bc I became so attached to this wonderful story & the characters. I can never forget this family & the joy they brought into my life. So many nights filled with tears and joy with this lovely bunch. Each member compliments the other, Dalbong & his boyish mannerisms, Gangshima & her motherly self, Gangjae & his monotony (although he has come a long way) Seoul her usual bubbly self, The father who watches over them constantly. Their love and compassion towards one another always leaves me in awe. How far they have come as a family together shows that each and every one of us can grow even in the hardest circumstances. I can remember the scene of Gangjae falling to his knees begging his father for forgiveness crying his heart out in a back alley. He showed his true willingness in helping his parent then, it's never too late everyone! We give Gangjae a hard time, but look at how caring he became & through that persevered. There is always room for a little love, kindness, patience and empathy. Thanks for allowing us to be part of your family. Love always xoxo

Incredible character development, incredible drama and definitely one of the best that I've watched. This show taught me so much. "Thank you", "I love you" and "I'm sorry" these three phrases' true meaning were shown and it also shows how important family is.

One of the best dramas ever! The storyline, the ending, characters, the ending... Everything was perfect. I watched the last episode yesterday and cried so hard. It just effected me so much that it appeared in my dream! I also realized how precious our families are. I hope people also realize it and treat their families well when they are by their side and healthy. It was just amazing.

I can't believe this drama has come to an end. Obviously this is the most beautiful and well written drama ever produced by KBS. Please keep this kind of dramas coming! so many life lessons learnt. AND DOES ANYONE TOO REALIZE THIS IS SO FAR THE ONLY DRAMA THAT DIDNT HAVE ANY VILLAIN CHARACTERS. so realistic and far more relate able than other dramas. This is by far one of the best korean drama I've ever watched. Unlike those modern day deception, adultery, coveting, this drama shows the importance of family and the importance of treasuring and appreciating family. The tradegy and comedy make it an even more appealing drama. Also, the actors and actresses are good. Dalbong's proposal was hilarious and he and Seoul are so adorable, it is also nice to see that Kangjae loves Hyojin now and that it worked out for them. It is also nice to see Kangshim really happy. What a nice ending for a good drama! P.S Kangjae's Catallena performance and Seoul's horse! ride! song got me bursting out from the sadness to laughter HAHAHA

That's a great recommendation, I'll Be Here has been viewed by over 6 million people and increasing every day. His duet with Park Hyo Shin at his July 2, 2017 Seoul Fan Meeting is amazing and shows another side of Hyungsik.

From this silly dalbong to a super serious yoo chang soo in high society drama, wow, hyungsik is great with acting!

After 5 days i finally finished the 53 episodes... AT first im watching this bec of my bias Park Hyungsik but eventually fell inlove with the whole cast.They really nailed each character. What a great kind of family drama🖒🖒👌 I dnt regret spending my time on watching.. The whole 53 episodes makes me lil psycho,I cried like a river and one moment im laughing like there's no tomorrow... Too many lesson to learned in this show.So DAEBAK!!

I visited my grandfather a day after Christmas and that night I had a dream about him talking to my Nana about me. I was laying on the couch in their house & he just kept saying he was okay and everything would be fine, while stroking my hair. I woke up crying because I didn't know what it meant and it felt weird. I got a call that morning saying he had passed, I told my uncle about it & he said at least 15 other family members had dreams with my grandfather in it. I guess it was his way of telling us he was leaving and not to worry.

OMG..No words😱😱😱 This is the BESTEST and MOST MEANINGFUL drama i've ever seen in my life..😍😍😍This isn't simply a drama, it's a great lesson and guide for lifetime..What a realistic and brilliant portrayal of characters and life. Each and every character in this drama has it's own charishma . In real life,these characters are related to everyone in one or many aspects. Hats off to story writer and director. Simply awesome 👏👏👏. I am an Indian and I always prefer to watch korean dramas with least no. of episodes but, this is the only drama I wish it would never end. I can't express in words but, to such great extent I love this drama. Coming to the roles, fantastic actors. Everyone played their best. President Mun has really got baby face and his smile is the cutest. I love all guys in this drama alot without exception. Thanks to tecnology, even though I am not a Korean, I am able to watch this splendid drama that I can cherish forever. Pls make many more such meaningful dramas. But one thing, pls promote vegetarianism rather than showing colourful non-veg recipes..bcoz even animals have families and they too can suffer and experience pain as we do :'( 💔💔💔 LOVE FROM INDIA :)

Park hyung sik brought me to this drama at first but then as i kept watching until this very ep I couldn't help myself as i have fallen in love with the whole cast.. this drama gave me laughter,crying my eyes out and so much more they did their part in showing that we all are just a mere human with sometimes uncontrollable emotions and thoughts.. no one is perfect in here in this drama and in real life.. .. but they never give up to be better for their loved ones.. Thank you KBS and the whole cast and staff for this wonderful journey throughout the 5days I've spent watching this drama 🙊😂😂 hoping for more worth watching drama again with great casts 😍

the story line is fantastic the characters was played well n the drama is parallel to real life events I so loved it I cried laughed mad cried bucketful n happy for the kids but sad at the same time..

What a great end to a great drama. The only conplain I have is that we didn't get to see any Ms. Ko at the end. I would have loved to see they were still close to her, their father loved her a lot and she loved their father, that should be enough reason to keep her around. I'll really miss waiting for the weekend to see this drama. It really hits the spot and reminds you of how precious family is. Thank you KBS for this amazing drama ♡

2019 still can't get over this drama..

I'm so happy that the writers maintained and grew the friendship between Eunho and Dalbong (and Soeul) instead of Eunho just disappearing to obscurity after the love triangle was finally resolved. It was so nice getting to see the banter between Eunho and Dalbong during the phone call about the engagement ring. One of many feel good moments in this episode (and many more over the course of the whole drama)~~

What Happens to My Family was my first Korean drama I have ever seen on KBS World and it’s the best TV series I have ever seen! I believe watching to this drama was in my destiny. It was a sunny August 30, when I decided to rotate the satellite dish from 19,2 °E to 13 °E. When I tuned channels, I was passing through them and I stopped at KBS World where started some TV series. I decided I will watch it. I have found it’s the first episode, but I did not know it’s the premiere. After watching it was clear: I was very interested and I wanted to watch the next episodes. From September I looked forward to every Saturday and Sunday because I was watching this drama just in TV. Unfortunately, it’s over. But it were the great times. When I write this text, I have close to tears. Words can’t describe how I’m impressed. I had close to tears in some episodes, in the last two episodes my tears ran down the face, although I was amused in last and other episodes as well. I can’t thank just to the actors, so I would like to thank everyone who was involved in this drama. I think to everyone who is in the last photo at the end of this episode. It was an amazing story, the actors were great, everything was perfect. I look forward for watching this drama again in the future. Thank you so much for the great times! this drama brought me lots of laughs as well as tears, made me annoyed but also cringe thanks to its sweet moments, as Soonbong(father) said it is true that 'this is life is all about' thanks to this drama i could see my mistakes towards to my own family and also see their hardships more clearly , even though i had gone through a similar misfortune as i lost my dear grandmother two months ago i realized that i wasn't aware enough how precious this life is like dalbong said 'i thought he would always be right behind us' i thought my grandmother would be too and wake me up with the sun rise as i stayed their home every summer, almost every single day of my life i saw her face or heard her voice but now the place she was at is a void which i dont know how to fill or ignore, i wish one day this wound of ours can heal but even it does i know that it will scar for your loved ones, for your family and for your own self you should watch this drama you won't regret it, thank you to the all staff , actors , actresses and especially to writers for making this drama possible

The best last episode! Like many other comments already said, storyline and actors are all great. Unlike some others with too dramatic scenes etc.. this drama was pleasant to watch and realistic. Keeps me always reminded of the importance of family and peace in the family. :')

I don't really watch KDRAMAS,but this one was worth watching.Throughout this drama,I've laughed,facepalmed myself,cries while laughing,and everything I have never felt before.I love how this drama isn't just about cheesy romance,but also shows us about the value of families.I respect the producer of this drama and I thank KBS for airing this for all of us.I truly needed this drama ❤️

This drama story is relatable to families of different countries PHS acting is superb he do comedy drama and action very versatile actor more projects for him soon i already watched SWBS.

I'm so grateful for the precious time that I spent on this drama. First I've watched this drama when I'm in senior high school. At 2019 I'm rewatching this when I'm 22. The drama is meaningful. I finished Father is strange a couple weeks ago and the comments kept comparing the 2 dramas because of how great they were, so I decided to watch it. I'm so glad I did! Such a great drama!

Idk if its just me but oncei finish the whole drama, i immediatley go back to episode 1 to see how it all started and think of how so many things changed throughout this drama. Idk but it makes me really emotional and happy when i do that

the last episode has to be one of my favorites! highly recommend this drama!

Uwaaa. The directors and script writers are so awesome. The story and the values of the father really pull through because just with That audible laugh after the proposal made my throat really tight and made me whimper automatically. Thay scene was so moving . The fact that it was none other than the son who dreamed about being just like his father and adored him the most

Yu Donggeun, may your roles which you portray as a character(s) father continue to inspire me on the road to being a father for my own children one day...I don't even know what to write anymore, yet another amazing series is over and I'll probably will never see something so pure in a way that even the audience feels like they're apart of the cast as well when the show wraps up. I need to finish watching "The Dandelion Family", anyways there's not much I can say anymore but thank you KBS for broadcasting yet another wonderful series and thank you to the cast and crew for displaying a necessary in life that's not often seen nowadays as well as bring back something I had thought to never see again on television thanks to america's direction of programming xD

Who's still watching this in 2018 ? I think it's the best drama ever , it can makes you smile , laugh , sad, angry ect.. You can feel being the member of Cha family and the last episode makes me cry a lot , tissue doesn't help 😭😭😭

It's 2018 and I am still desperately watching this show, It took me forever to finish it bc I became so attached to this wonderful story & the characters. I can never forget this family & the joy they brought into my life. So many nights filled with tears and joy with this lovely bunch. Each member compliments the other, Dalbong & his boyish mannerisms, Gangshima & her motherly self, Gangjae & his monotony (although he has come a long way) Seoul her usual bubbly self, The father who watches over them constantly. Their love and compassion towards one another always leaves me in awe. How far they have come as a family together shows that each and every one of us can grow even in the hardest circumstances. I can remember the scene of Gangjae falling to his knees begging his father for forgiveness crying his heart out in a back alley. He showed his true willingness in helping his parent then, it's never too late everyone! We give Gangjae a hard time, but look at how caring he became & through that persevered. There is always room for a little love, kindness, patience and empathy. Thanks for allowing us to be part of your family. Love always xoxo

I’ve ever seen like this drama... I didn’t feel bore between ep1- ep 53 ... all mixed emotions sad comedy love etc... I extremely missed my dad n all family as well... thank you guys I’m sure that was my best dream in 2017

I've never been so into a drama that is 50 episodes long and this was really beautiful even though I cried like 75% of the time I wish it extended ! 좋았어요 ❤️

When Seoul was singing it reminded me of her and Hyungsik singing at the KBS Drama Awards. She can put her singing skills to use! Hahaha! Feeling sad that this drama ended already... I hope they have a season 2 though! But highly unlikely anyways will miss this cast and this story very much :)

I think Hyungsik can make anyone into a singer when they sing with him. Seoul's voice electronically enhanced. Something that is not uncommon. Kwanghee is known for having a limited range but their duo for the Davichi's Don't Say Goodbye is pretty decent. Hyungsik is ZE:A's main vocal because of his octave coverage and voice range. He will sometimes sing in two different "voices" in one song. Sometimes he is singing from the back or in the middle and it's not really obvious.

Shes not good in singing but she is so pretty. I loved the way hyungsik assist her on that duet.

I can never get enough of this drama in, it 2023 and I repeatly watch this over and over. Absolutely love all the actors they truly are a joy to watch. Full of laughter and sorrow, cryed many times, would love to see them do another series bestest drama ever❤❤❤

What a great drama...love it from the beginning to the ending.. I cried and laughed every time watching this drama. A real masterpiece

I was hoping Son Dambi and HYUNGSIK would've actually performed lol but I'm glad everyone did it otherwise. I'm legit sad it's over. Same feeling I had when Wang's Family ended. A part of me wishes they had a funeral scene because father's death seemed rather sudden although foreshadowed. Also glad the ending didn't jump YEARS into the present and just jumped 1.

This drama amazing. we cry with the characters when their father vomitted blood. Then the next minute we are laughing at their singing.Enjoyed this family drama very much.

I just finished this drama today. My heart is full with so many emotions. I recently started watching Korean drama and it has been so amazing. What a wonderful story. I realize it's 3 yrs old, but I'm SO glad I decided to watch it. In my opinion, we have nothing in America that comes close to these type of stories. So well written and so amazingly acted. I loved everything about it!!!

😭😭😭😭😭😭The end where Dalhbong sees his father. I just lost it...😭😭😭😭I wasn’t prepared. I loved the rollercoaster of this drama. The actors and actresses did an amazing job.

Hey. I rather think the fact they seem to focus more on gangshims love for her dad reflects the reality best. Girls are more emotional and express more their love than guys. We see how deeply Dalbong loves his dad and how deeply gangjae feels responsible for his dad. That's a deep love too, it's just that they express it differently.

I am so glad I invested 53+ hours watching this drama. It is truly a work of art. I laughed, cried, and felt every emotion in between. And I picked up a decent amount of Korean phrases. This show is definitely worth the lengthy investment. Thank you for publishing it on KZread! :)

I like this drama . It has bring out soo many feeling like anger ,happiness, laughter ,hater ..... but it has been a history that everyone must learn ( to be grateful towards someone and know how to said "thank you") this is a drama that I appreciate. ..
