I can say you many people go exactly to the US not because this is a good and rich country, but for example even the EU (don't even speak about other countries) mostly doesn't approve their asylum cases and people who really are afraid for their lives understand if they have a very bad chances for example in Spain, why they would go there if they most likely will be deported back to their home country where at the end they will be jailed or other problems. So the problem mostly isn't how you handle the border, but their chances to stay in your country, as Russian I can say we share borders with Finland and Norway, those countries are one of the best in the world, they have no fence to stop Russians, but Russians don't go there even during this bad time for Russia only because at the end all of us will be send back with 0 chances for staying there.

Yet they must manage somehow until they can appear for their appointed immigration court date that’s months or years away. So of course many will work off the books. And that’s those who work.

@@truther001 that is because their either illegal or they don’t have proper documents. They don’t have that green cards or special Social Security cards issued out to the legal ones or both. I worked with some that came with fake SS cards and work cards and someone reported them and ICE was there to pick them up from the job. HECK They didn’t even get their W2’s forms when the Supervisors was handing them out with the checks. That’s because there number didn’t match

I even said to my brother there must be some event happening. He told me no look closer, it's been this way and getting worse for the last several months to a nearly a year. I had no idea. I literally work and go home, work and go home. On my days off I'm home, I shop for my groceries a half mile away and that is totally the farthest I go, ever! I'm not a news person at all. It would not. We would essentially be building camps where organized crime operators would quickly establish themselves, providing drugs, alcohol, prostitution and thuggery as the only means of employment, off the books of course, because most of these migrants are denied work papers. In no time, the camps or “villages” would become slums - cesspools of violence, sickness, poverty and insanity.

Why don't the US reach out to the other countries these migrants are 1st traveling to and talk to them about being a little more strict about THEIR entry requirements. I bet if US offered them just a fraction in aid/resources to assist with their participation in being a little more restrictive on entry then what we spend on the migrants once they are here, the US would end up saving a lot more money in return in the long run. Why does it seem like the whole south and middle continent of the Americas are like this, you can even board a plane any where in world, land in any place in Americas "besides the US or Canada" then just freely walk on up US and then you are smuggled on in.

We can't even cure our own homeless situation, nor take care of our needy and homeless veterans! But by God we can take in tens of thousands of illegal immigrants, and put them up in nice hotels and provide daily meals, (at least that's the reports I've been hearing that they've been doing). Did anybody ever offer our homeless veterans a nice hotel room and meals? If they are really doing that for illegals then I'm standing with you. I'm too old, and have worked far too many years for shitty wages to end up being pushed out by people who don't even pay taxes. I'm not stupid, I'm not naive, but I long ago stopped paying attention to the lying news media. But I've read too many reports about illegals being housed in nice places for it not to be true. The Soldiers are there because the Border Agency does not have enough Border Patrol Officers to Go around plus there's not enough space in the Border Shelters . I'm not religious but I'd rather be force fed to live by rules telling me not to kill and to do what's right being a good person, over telling my kid they need to change their sex and cut off their body parts.
