What will you use as your entry and exit dates in applying for the visitor's visa since ncas hasn't given you a date yet

It will depend on what your plan is. If you are planning to go back to your home country then you write down that date of exit. If you are planning to maximize your stay then it's only for 6 months maximum per visit - 6 months from arrival date

Thank you for this information. I am a Nigerian registered nurse currently on my icas credentials assessment and bccnm registration process. I want to know the type of visa given to ien to come in for cbt and SLA assessment. Secondly i also wants to know if its possible for one to get employed while still on preparation for these assesdments. The cost of the to and fro movement is high , how can retain his or her stay.

You now have the option to do your CBA in Nigeria and come to Canada nearer your SLA date. Most of my Nigerian mentees arrive using a multiple entry visit visa. Unless you get to have an employer/hiring company sponsor you, the visit visa would be your best route. If you'd like to sign-up for our mentorship, we can help introduce you to potential employers.

Most materials online (e.g., NCLEX review) or in print (e.g., books) are mostly for the nursing technical skills - will help your CBA but will not be fully useful for your SLA.

What I know is that you won't receive your CBA and SLA dates unless your visa gets approved first.
