A long-awaited experiment trying to make a transparent butter slime again! This time I've collected enough clear modelling clays to create a compilation. I was sort of expecting a lot of these to deactivate and turn sticky but was pleasantly surprised by the unusual range of results.

    Oumaru is a thermoplastic- not a clay, and stick based is just a type of glue, you can add more activator and it should come together again

    Thank you for showing the pre-made Elmer's clear slime because every time I make my own slime I have to reactivate it every few days and it gets really messy and tough.

    Yes Elmers clear slime is the most stable one I've tried! It also stays soft for a long time even if there's a bit of air in the container

    I absolutely love Joanna's curiosity. I don't play with slime or craft much anymore, but somehow these videos are so relevant and fun. I love science and she just so happens to test fun science projects. 🖤

    The issue with the resin is also the moisture. Resin and water do not mix, and it will not cure if there is any traces of it.

    Remember that if you handle uncured uv resin you can actually become allergic to acrylates!

    I wonder if a chemical reaction between the museum gel and the slime could've created tiny air bubbles, making the mixture look white?

    Maybe you could make a UV resin bubble by just coating the inside of a sphere shaped mold with resin and then hardening the thin layer of resin by shining uv light inside the mold.

We also have had fun with a few kits&projects thanks to you also. Love your videos, post more lol i kno easy for us subs to say i kno videos are not easy! You should have added activator to the slime/museum gel to see if it slimed properly. Love the overseas products you show. My mom is korean&next time she goes to korea i want to go with her&just hit art supply stores&eat street food lol.

    You could use the oyamaru to make a transparent character toy, and then put it in a container with clear slime to cover it, and have the clear toy go invisible in the slime, ad you can only see the character's face (painted on)- like a surprise toy! Since you should be able to separate it out later seeing how the 2 don't stick together.

    I looove Baby Box because she's my daughter's favourite character too 😂! However I'm a bit wary of making Gabbys Dollhouse stuff for my channel in case KZread classifies my videos as kids content. My channel has never been aimed at children and since COPPA regulations came into place, I've been more conscious on creating general crafting videos and things that don't feature characters which are (only) designed with kids in mind.

  • @maqaroon

    @maqaroon

    Yes I love Miniverse but all of their liquids are UV resin and shouldn't be touched. They're well aware of the dangers because they brought out the recent appliance series which lets you squeeze out resin without direct contact.

    So not to be rude I’m just a little confused… What is the end product that you’re trying to me because slime is clear and gooey what did you need it to be more clear and More gooeier?! 😂

  • @maqaroon

    @maqaroon

    3 ай бұрын

    I was hoping to making a "firmer" version of clear slime which benefits from the added stability of the clay. When you make butter slime by mixing normal slime with paper clay, it changes the texture to something similar to cream cheese or butter (hence the name). You can spread it flat with a knife and it will hold its shape.
