There’s also dialogue between yourself and “Master kogha” if you attempt to wear the Yiga outfit at all 4 of his phase fights. Short of it, he still recognizes that it’s you.

Honestly, I really like this. The Yiga clan sorta reminds me of the storm troopers, because while they are mostly just generic enemy grunts, they are also filled with personality, and it shows that they are human behind the mask. I imagine that elder members who remember their roots as shiekah try to keep the tradition alive, whilst the newer members focus on training and spreading their influence. I like it.

you can also get some better recognition and some discounts on vehicles by becoming a blademaster! there's a side quest nearby the gerudo canyon skyview tower, inside a cave there's a small yiga clan room for blademasters where you can apply to become a blademaster

I ended up dressing as a yiga before coming up to the gate, the guy turns around and is like, “wow a real live yiga member!” It was pretty cool

there is actually different dialogue with the potential member at the beginning if you already have it on! he mainly compliments the outfit.

4:15 The Yiga soldier sees Link leave and is like “wtf? I just got that out for you.”

Tbh when I started finding Yiga armor I was kinda hoping that there would an entire questline where you have to inflitrate the Yiga Clan as an undercover agent and sabotage them from the inside or something

Yiga are so cool I would pay good money for a Yiga simulator type game

Only one yiga inside the base knows who you are and he’s fine with it

When you achieved the Yiga-Officer quest in the Gerudo valley, you can talk to the Yiga officer there in completely normal clothing without any disguise and he will only tell you that your face looks kinda familiar but you should wear proper Yiga clothing next time.

I don't believe that they ACTUALLY give you the one move the big Yiga members use on you. That is so COOL! Imagine if they also gave you the teleport move as well to go Bullet Time without needing a ledge. How actually useful is it, tho?

It doesn't do that much damage, but it'll work to knock enemies back/around/etc. if you don't want to waste durability on your actual weapons.

The bases we go to are clearly combat focused and yiga recruitment as it stands is interesting to be sure. So they may have hideouts hidden entirely. Heck there own version of kakariko

I just did this a few hours ago! Very entertaining lol. The training was hilarious, skill issue on their part X).

I was confused at first to why they had something to the Thunder Helm, but this video enlightened me that they made a replica, and it all makes sense now. I love that we can actually talk to the Yiga Clan in disguise now. There was always something missing from them back in BotW.

Weren't the Yiga supposed to be Sheikah that refused to give up their tech and magic?

it probably lost the purpose of that from so long after founding. so at this point, they just recruit anyone because they don’t know about the reason of why the yiga clan even exists.

I imagine just like any other cult, there's people who will die for the cause, and then the people who are more chill and just with the cult for security. The Yiga who do shit like kill wives and try to kill you and Zelda are the die hards, and then you have the Yiga who just want to make edgy cars and eat bananas.

When you bought the spikes, you're meant to fuse them to a weapon or a shield.

there is a waterfall near gerudo canyon there is a yoga blade master base in there do his quest of placing bananas and you become a blade master and get A NON DECAYED WIND BLADE or what it is called…

When you fight him in the depths he still knows it's you, he says "yes I know it's you link, even under that mask!"

2:15 you bought those spikes sitting next to him. He doesn't let you touch them unless you pay up, then they're yours to build with, fuse, or drop on someone

It would be a pain but I feel if you died in the yiga hideout with the thunderhelm then it should show a dialogue Saying that the yiga clan has reclaimed the helm or something like that.

I was really hoping that the main blademaster would be named Maddened Maximillian or something

Remeber to become the yiga blade master (take the new route to gerudo region and you will find a yiga door behind some water on the pathway.

I like how you can just walse on in and harrass them in training...i mean sure,you have a disguise on but its still funny 😂

If you pass the Blademaster test, the Yiga members have different dialogs where they treat you with more respect.

For the people wondering about the rupees, he likely used an item duplication glitch at the start of the game ahen it wasnt patched

The Yiga Hideouts are not abandoned whatsoever in TotK. Even after defeating Master Kohga and collecting all the Yiga Schematics and getting their special attack, they are still there. That's way better than in BotW, where it was abandoned and sad.
