I hate the auto retirement. I wish it was more realistic. What manager retires after a decade and a half? Most managers manage a team for more than twice as long as fifas career mode. There's probably been managers out there that have managed a football team for half a century. They need to sort it out. Also please somebody give EA a feedback of adding club world cup. Save all time stats for players even if they aren't in your club and also a trophy room and hour specific trophy medal collection and tell you what you won exactly instead of how many leagues and European cups. Be more specific like Premier league 5 times champions league 2 times Europa league once fa cup 2 times etc

Wierd shit happens though if you let it last longer. On PC a mod was created to get rid of this limit. But like 30 years in nothing made sense and all players were costing £0 and loads of teams didn't have any players. Hopefully is fixed and limit is gone in FIFA 22

Why does it have to end in 2035? My chelsea career is in 2035, just won the treble and want to keep going. So now I can't because the game forces you to retire? I can't even carry this to ps5 as well :(

I hope later on they actually have a story in career mode like you build a rivalry with a certain manager/club and different relationships with players and you set your own style of play and certain players want to join your club. Cause of your influence and of course your all time stats with different clubs and international teams

It should end with shaking hands with the current captain or something like that.

Not letting them retire and change age is dumb. Career mode regenerates the players back in anyway. So messi is an Argentinian RW. When he retires, a new 'messi' will be put in to career with a new name and at 17ish years old. So you can buy him and he will become messi again. One of the best players if not better

Does anynone know what happens with your Career MyPlayer? Im now grindin career mode with my player for quite a while, hes gettin close to 31 years and i think at some point the game will automatically retire him. But i really put time into unlockin all the achivements in the Dribbling shooting and passing sections. Would be quite frustrating if the player is deleted or retired with a 94 rating

The trick is to keep signing him to one year extensions at the start and the end of the season, and keep all the factors of his morale green (play him a lot and pay him lots of money). For me it’s 2028 in my career mode and he is 43 and still playing.

Such a lame way to end the career mode, wow. Nothing special. I believe they only allow 15 years because it would be difficult to provide results for all the simulations and the creation of regens and new players.
