Hi I am a Fostering Social Worker - great video, very informative. Just to make you aware that the term Nitty Gritty' is a racist term and relates back to where black people were kept on slave ships.

Thank you so much for explaining everything, we have just applied to become foster parents and to be honest I'm terrified of the whole process, I'm quite a quiet person and hopeless at getting across what i want to say, also i know they dig deep into our backgrounds..this doesn't worry me but I'm hopeless at remembering things and feel there isn't a lot to say as luckily i just had a nice normal childhood! oh well will see how it goes..i might surprise myself! :) xx

I asked my social worker if we would go to panel if she didn't think I would be successful, she said we go to panel regardless

I loved your video it was very insightful. I mean this in the nicest way possible but it might be beneficial for your channel and following if you change your display picture and video pictures because I would have clicked on your video first and it not looked brown and formal looking at a glance. I can see upon clicking on it that its a lovely design but I scrolled past your video a few times before even considering it despite it being exactly what I was looking for. Just trying to help, other people deserve to see your awesome vids. xx :)
