Exactly.Death is just dumping the body as you move thru your subconscious & unconscious/VOID mind revealing the superconscious minds influence as a steering mechanism in the timeless regions.

So when you say that people died but when resuscitated have a recollection of the experience. I think this is because clinical death is when the heart stops but the brain is still active 4-6 minutes after. Biological death is when the brain cells die and the brain is permanently damaged and no longer functioning. Personally I think when we talk about death, we mean biological death. When people have experienced a cardiac arrest and the heart ceases pumping, I don’t think resuscitation means they came back to life. I don’t think there can be life after death because our bodies are alive, and since we’re dead-we’re dead. If our souls continue on somewhere-it’s not alive-it’s another state of being. I don’t think it’s a state of being where we are talking and interacting as we did as humans. We don’t meet our loved ones and part. It’s not a state of consciousness. I think our soul is an energy. You know how when the TV is on, but even if the sound is muted, and you can’t see it-you’re in another room and don’t see the light from the TV, but you can somehow tell it’s on? It’s the energy emitted from the electrical current powering the TV. I think our souls still are charged by the energy of the Earth. I know it sounds like I’m not making sense. I think Heaven is a concept, not a place. I don’t think we end up in some place with our bodies partying with out deceased loved ones. I think our souls eventually “evaporate” kind of. Whatever energy is charging it for however long, finally runs out. What is it doing until then? I don’t think we will ever know that. But who knows, our knowledge of the world and ourselves now was almost completely impossible 2 million years ago. Who knows what we will know in another 2 million years.

Yeah but that raises the question:how were some people able to recall faces and hear sounds, if, theoretically, their eyes were closed?There are a lot of documented cases of that, and also an infamous case of a woman(I forgot her name) that had brain surgery and she was able to recall the surgeons. If I remember corectly, she had a brain tumor and in order to be saved, doctors literally "shut her down" to perform the surgery, and after she woke up she described the doctors and the nurses while they were operating on her

The answer lies in the question itself. We r so curious to know where we are going after death but nobody seems interested to know where we came from. Imagine if my age is 20 yrs now, where I was 21 years before. I have no memories before my birth, it shows I will not have any memories after death.

I’ve thought about that, and it made sense for a while but it doesn’t when you think that we don’t really start to have vivid memories until we are about 3 or so. That’s when you really start to have strong memories. I don’t remember anything from when I was first born either

Regression therapy. We do have a glimpse of our past beginnings. Like the veridical NDE's. We have veridical regressions. Many can be verified of their authenticity.

I agree with you. I think when we die, that's just sort of...it. But on the other hand, I have had paranormal experiences, so what's that about? At the end of the day, nobody knows. Until the time comes. And then they find out.

Unfortunately people tend to limit their conjectures about what might happen after to what's already been asked before, without exploring even the fullness of that question let alone going beyond it. Like the question at the end - ruthless one-upmanship or altruistic harmony? Why not both? If you look at enough NDEs you can see the outlines of *both* in these stories, although the only stories you hear point toward the latter. Further, while the common NDE narrative is that people come back trying to live better lives, I've seen people with NDEs join actual hate groups and agitate to take away the rights of innocent people. Or why would there be only one destination? Or two? Defined by one of the youngest major religions? Why would *any* religion have it right? I can't say for sure that no one has been able to describe more than the barest outline of what really happens after death, but I can say that I doubt anything I've heard from anyone comes close to it. At best all we have are shadows on a wall in a dark room, but that won't last forever.

What do you remember when you were in the womb weeks away from being born. You surely were conscious but remember nothing…. What do you remember when you die…. If someone was brain dead or died as a infant is it fair for their consciousness to live on as they were???

I have been experiencing a lot of paranormal stuff for the last 2 years. Things that make those ghost hunter shows look pitiful. I'm 47, retired from the Army, and have 5 kids. 3 left home alredy and 2 are still here. Well, kind of. They just sleep here. They're never home. A 18 year old college freshman and 17 senior in high school. On election day 2020 about 3:30 in the afternoon i had just voted and was headed home. A man on a moped pulled out in front of me and i tried my best to swerve and not hit him, but it wasn't enough. Sadly he lost his life. It destroyed me. Ive always thought myself as, you know the line from American sniper some people are sheep, some are wolves, and some are sheepdogs that protect, a sheepdog. That's why I joined the Army and have always found myself standing up for the little guy against bullies. Even though it wasn't my fault I still felt horrible. I was depressed and about 3 months later is when this all started. First, it was just little things moving. So i started recording. I just use my galaxy A23 phone and i really should get a better camera. But I seriously doubt it would have a better picture. My phone, when not recording something paranormal, is clear as hell. But as soon as I start filming them the picture goes to sh!t. I'm not very good with technology and I wanted to send these videos to my friends and family. Whenever try to email or text them I will always get the message if they were too large of a file and I have no clue about how to get it where I can send it to them. Friend of mine suggested i should start like a KZread channel and put them on there. And then just tell my friends or family to go to that and I can see them and I don't have to worry about doing anything to them. Because I was actually afraid if I try to do something till they would be ruined and I wouldn't have the evidence. Like I said all of these videos are completely real. I just want people to see them. I'm not going to lie. I really want to shove these videos and faces of atheists. You know, people like Neil deGrasse Tyson that act all high and mighty like they know everything and claim that there's no such thing as the afterlife. You're just a couple on there I'm going to put more on there. I have a lot of pictures I want to figure out a way how to put all of them into I guess like a video and then put that on KZread. Their pictures of some crazy stuff. Like I said this is completely real. Trying to do this to gain anything. Well, like I said, maybe laughs in some atheist faces would be the only gain I would want. I was dead before i was alive. Which makes me believe that some day my energy will come back and one day ill be alive as something else. If there is an infinite time than there are infinite possibilites

I just hope I switch off and that’s it, I would love to see my loved ones but I dint think I deserve this. I’m on so much pain and darkness

I love my family, I never want them to go, I might cry writing this. I wish everyone could live forever, but slowly grow up. I wish we knew if heaven existed or not, I hope I could see my older sister after I die. My family always said she was funny, and how I remind them of her. I have a fear of losing everyone, like basically alone.

Its a circle mate.. we reincarnate, but we have no more memories, of how it was before death or birth.. this is the only answer.

Because the evidence seems to not be this. Even if what people see in the process of dying are "hallucinations", it's still not nothing. For instance take Steve Jobs, apparently when he was in the process of dying he came back and was astonished about what he saw. This doesn't seem like nothing. When atheists(Who are not religious and believe their experience was 100% naturalistic) talk about being in the process of dying and seeing stuff, what then?

Because of the millions/billions of NDE's. Many veridical. Especially when one knows themself, one does not die. More evidence of life after death, than the evidence there is not. The basis of proof in science.

They say there is no proof the consciousness goes on. Ok, but there’s no proof that total oblivion exists either. I challenge anyone who thinks that it’s nothing, to find me nothing. Nothing doesn’t exist. There is always something. The idea that because we can’t remember prior to birth doesn’t give much either. Most people can’t remember their early two or 3 years either. We more so get solid memories when we turn around 3 or 4

Ok I agree with some of this but the "We go to Heaven" take was kinda bad. I'm not even religious and even I noticed how illogical and childish that take was: "There are too many people so it will be a crowded place", ok but how do you know that?How do you know it's a place that will be too crowded in the first place? "Maybe you'll not find your friends or family", maybe you won't even remember them? "Free will will lead to imperfection", but I honestly doubt a God that accepted you in Heaven will punish you for doing a small mistake, really. "What would motivate a soul?", umm what is your other option, to not die?😂 So yeah, I personally think it's not that easy. Just as we were born from nothing and started a life on this strange planet that has the ability to sustain said life, maybe after death it will be the same thing?

This is really weird, because if our consciousness goes to a differeng plane or realm, then do we lose our personality? Cause I try not to judge but sometimes peoole are just mean and rude, does their bitterness leave them?? How do you reconnect with loved ones, cause forever alone does not seem like heaven to me.

I'm sure of one thing. The picture of whatever wester religion paints is no less than anything, in any chapter, in any Stephen King or Shakespeare novel depicts. It's only another manmade story(stories). Our conscious survives our bodies, and we move on. Whether we move on into the light and possibly reincarnate or stay earthbound. That's pretty much we are all given before we return to our bodies in the millions/billions of NDE's throughout the ages. That's my humble opinion.

If we could recreate our brain in an android they would be just like NPC’s in video games. They have emotion dialogue but no real conscience..

No sorry, heaven is literally hell. According to writings, we would have no free will and only exist to praise and worship God. The concepts of ATMA (spirit or soul) and Body existed from time immemorial in SANATAN , ancient Indian principles for the ways of living as human. One must be sure that "Christ" is real, and not a story fiction! The real "God" is judging you by the way you understand what you read! You can not control the real "God" by performing a "ritual" that "supposedly" comes from him! One will be judged by one's heart alone! Not by what other "religious" people experience you do! The "Bible is a "litmus test" to screen out selfish people (lol.) The bible is a fictional story that comes from a divine source! No one, even "God and his angels" have eternal life! The fact that the "story" talks of beings living forever, doesn't make it actually true! You exist here; not in the Bible! 🫂
