just finished the manga... the anime really had a chance to stand in the top. the adaptation made me want to tear my hair apart

I would suggest to either read the mangas or rewatch season 1 and pretend that season 2 never happened because so far, the second season was a disappointment.

Well season 2 is good since this anime has no more budget to continue! Thats why they finished it up for the fans

Here’s something I noticed season 2 episode 4 Anna writes in her note book “January 22 2047” but in episode 5 she writes “January 24 2047”. In that episode a demon in the market says the kids have been gone for a year. Anna’s hair also grew a lot so that would make sense. But according to what she wrote it’s only been 2 days???

I think they changed the season because they were contracted for only one more season and they wanted to provide some level of finality. But it was done very very poorly.

Finished the Manga over the past few days and yes this was an absolutely wonderful story. I’m glad I made the decision to do so and also got to experience season 1. I hope the Amazon live action does a good job. They should I suppose? Idk. Hopefully.

After season 1 i read the manga it is good until they meet norman again for some reason the story begin to be rushed to the point there's some plot holes, either way it is good manga and unique story, I just hope what they did in season 2, they just finish it until to Goldy pond arc or start of Goldy pond arc and wait for revenue

Dude she still remembers them within her heart vaguely and reunites with them with tears and smiles. Kinda like your name ending. Trust me the whole manga after season 1 and the ending are top notch and badass and makes you feel satisfied and gives you a great time. The anime adaptation gives me cancer like Tokyo ghoul season 2 adaptation.

So there's no reward in return for the new forged promise at all which is too generous of that demon God. So let's say it ends that way and as for all the other great characters and arcs, lore you missed, read the manga. You'll understand if you do. I'll read the manga eventually, but no way I'm paying a penny for it. I don't want my money to the let them think this is okay. Had they only done the first season and said "Hey, sorry, probably no more because the committee that hired doesn't see it as profitable to advertise a manga that's already over" they still wouldn't have gotten a lot of conversions from Anime to Manga, but they would have gotten some people who wanted to continue the story. But this was just insulting. I'm tired of these committees seeing anime as only publicity for the manga. So many anime are powerhouses on their own, I wish these executives wouldn't at least be willing to occasionally take a risk. Japanese companies though are so incredibly conservative and risk averse though.

I read the manga and tbh didn’t like it very much. The first arc was absolutely amazing but the remaining of the story was pretty mid to me (Goldy Pond was good though). Now watching this video I’m kinda glad I didn’t watch the second season lol it managed to be miles worse than the manga

I'm mostly an only anime viewer but even for me it seemed pretty much as trash maybe it's bc I saw some panels of the manga but still

People should understand that episodes are expensive having to put everything from a manga into an anime that would be a lot of money and I don't think the writers or the creators didn't want to take that risk.

Nah, the problem is that the shit that should have been in the season WERENT ANIMATED. BECAUSE THEY JUST SKIPPED ABUNCH OF SHIT.

Everybody hates the final season of Promised Neverland, yet they love the final season of Attack on Titan? Granted, PN's ending should have been better, but at least Emma never betrayed her friends and became a MONSTER; oh, and most importantly, none of the good guys died! But, nooo, we hate endings like that! We demand to have our protagonists become horrible ppl, we demand everything we knew up to that season be turned upside down, we demand to have characters we hoped would survive to be betrayed and killed in the most pointless way imaginable, we demand to shoe horn in new characters that make us root for the bad guys, because dammit, that's "the Otaku way"!

"None of the good guys died" why would it make story worse if they did? Also aot didnt seemed that rushed comparing to s2 of pw. I would love to see this season with happy ending if it only would actually make sense and didnt gave us different pointless threads and characters every epesoide. I expexted something more entertaining like season 1 but im dissapointed :((

I also had mixed feelings with this moment cause it was necessary for greater good but XD ur right, they've done it just like that, except Connie scene wich represents that there are no good guys after all. I also feel some kind of betrayal from tpn season 2, cause it doesn't give us one strong plot and build up for whole arc like s1, but a lot of little ones which just ends in 2 episodes like they were trying to finish the story as fast as they can.

So in response to the original comment I just started rambling about Attack On Titan, but looking over what I typed I realized I utterly failed to get my point across, so I deleted it. Long story short, no one in AoT's ending thus far has acted out of character except for Gabby, soldier face, and the Commandant, who have all spontaneously switched sides and/or blew themselves up for no reason; and despite its disappointments, the ending is thus far much better than that of The Promised Neverland season 2. I just don't have the writing skills to explain it eloquently, but I guess I can put back the rambling if you want to see it.

The manga is awesome. I stopped watching the anime after I found out they skipped the Goldy Pond Arc. I think most viewers stopped after realizing there's no Yugo. So stupid these makers ....
