huge respect for the transparency! I also think there is some special kind of poker vlogger run-good in this world. So many examples of vloggers getting mega-stuck but binking it all back on the most improbable stuff (roulette / video poker / swaps in the main) lol. Seriously though, congrats and I'm looking forward to the next attempt!

I stuck around from the first challenge vlog and I’ll have to say even though it was a bit annoying hearing the condescension towards the Americans I did enjoy watching and actually rooted for you at times mate. This video was great too, very relatable and refreshing to see that even “super pros” as Ryan would call you still have downswings. I look forward to the next series 💪

9/10 Video. 1 point deducted for that 'Shoot for the moon and you might land amongst the stars' quote.. that was more misplayed than any on the hands in the video. Also I reckon you should do a million online challenge now within whatever timeframe is comfortable, would be the biggest sell for your channel and you could do it.

The toxicity and the poker politics is what really puts me off playing. I’ve been asked to leave a few high stakes private games due to ‘winning’. I’m not even a pro, just want to chill and punt after a long week of running my business yet have hosts in my ear giving me orders on how to play.

It is called swapping action. Both players play the tournament and agree to give each other a percentage of each other’s winnings. Your chances of winning the main event are very slim so a lot of players do this.

People called me a hater, but honestly this “challenge” was as click bait as it gets. You are a very solid 500nl player, but to think you can take an extended holiday around the US while crushing live poker for 7 figures was mad.

Bit of a lurker here, not commenting much. I must say this video was really, really refreshing. Not talking about whatever money you lost or won. When I discovered you about 2 years ago, you always hit me as somebody stern, uptight, borderline taciturn, like talking very fast but with no emotion whatsoever in your voice. I mean, even your scripted 'interludes' talking about your poker academy are so dry... "Hope to see you there" with such an absolute void in your voice it sounds like 2000s text to speech on 1.75xspeed. Point is, I know this is an unpopular opinion, but my personal opinion is this doesn't make you very likeable. More like boring. I mainly watched you for your plays, for what you do, not for who you are. Nobody is saying you have to be entertaining when displaying yourself publicly, but somehow I wonder if this didn't play a role in how much of an unknown figure you were when trying to get into games, and how this may have influenced how many contacts and key relationships you had, that may have helped you get into better games, and who knows, maybe have you tell a totally different story in this video? I had no idea the high stakes world of poker were so political or gatekept, but well, that only means one thing: there is a parallel game to play, and that is a social and political game, which you may or may not have developed enough to set you up good in your project. I can't tell for sure, I don't know you or what you're doing, but the trail of thought makes sense to me, or at least it looks like being a great player isn't enough. When I saw you were posting again, I was thinking "heh, he got razed in vegas and now trying to recup some money by posting videos", with an aftertaste of "well deserved", and today I finally found time to watch this video, and I must say for the first time I heard a human talking. With his struggles, his doubts, his joys, his frustrations. Whoever talked in this video, talked with heart, genuineness and was actually communicating more than just words. And I thought "damn this must have been so hard for him", and I can truly relate to what you've talked about in this video, and I'm sure everybody who played more than 25K hands of poker also can. I'm not here to tell you anything on how to run your life, you are a successful business person and much better set up than I will probably ever be, but could there be some value to gain from expanding on this "character development arc" this video started? In any case, I wish you all the best. It was great to hear you for the first time.

Man it sucks that you didnt play HCL. Huge L there on HCL's part. LMAO Garret is a super pro so wtf is that? I'm guess Garret didn't want you to play. He doesn't allow other pros probably.

I truly believe ginge in getting a months worth of footage and get a 3 rd party to edit and make it look sick and then release say 10 vlogs of that month over a 20-30 day period. Very few people, myself included, sit and watch 7 hours of a live stream sesh, so there won’t be hardly any worry of vlogs being non climatic from say a worldy session that only a few people have already seen or known. What do I know I’m a losing 1/2 poker pro(crastinator) Peace and love G

welcome to the bullshit that comes with high stakes poker. I really don't even know how mentally you play 5/10 nl 1500 cap and then play 100/200 nl

It appears the swaths of unworthy “live pro fish” and “American reg fish” somehow outclassed ya, mate 🫠🫠🫠
