Bi-polar and various other disorders can turn a small anger issue into a willingness to do a life sentence just to get a point across to somebody that you aren’t to be fucked with.

He is a friend of mine and people in life have hard times. Everyone has a chance to change for the better living a better future than just mistakes of the past. People should support positive changes and not just throw the past in their faces.. Best wishes Tyler

I was fortunate enough to see him race a few times over here in Australia. He didnt have a great run while out here, and tore some gear up, but he showed some moments of pure brilliance where you knew immediately how much of a talented driver he was. I'd love to see him back in a car one day, but hope he can get his life and health straightened out first

The All Stars raced twice at Butler one summer in the late 90's and Tyler won both. Did his signature back flip of his left rear tire. It was exciting to watch him back then.

Tyler was a talented and exciting driver to watch. He chose to get involved with drugs and ruined his racing career. It happens to many athletes. Their egos get the best of them. Sadly, Tyler's glory days are behind him and he can't start over in racing. I hope he can stay clean and has a good life outside of racing.

Tyler Walker is a good friend and opinions are like a$$holes. Everyone has them. You have a guy that has struggled with addiction... sure. But look at all of his interviews. He always gives credit to his team and family, never himself. Very humble. Extremely talented. His brother Ben started Walker Performance Filtration in 2015, not Tyler. Tyler now works for the business and helps promote and give input on product development.

I’ve talked to Lee Stauffer and some other people of that magnitude in the central PA racing area, from what I heard Tyler is running his own business and sadly isn’t likely to return to racing , he was told by doctors to highly consider retirement from racing due to concussions. It’s a shame cause his last official race in central PA was at Port Royal for the Dream Race and he reported injured his leg in a wreck and after that, I can’t remember seeing Tyler or the Sorokach 35 anytime the rest of 2017 or anytime over the next 2 years. Hopefully Tyler is living a good healthy life, got to meet him in that 2017 season and couldn’t have been farther from being “the thug” that the average fan thinks he is, he is a great guy and would love to talk racing with him

Always hoped Tyler would get it together. He burned my last bridge for him the night at the Gold Cup in Chico when he failed to transfer to the A-Main. As he left the track he pitched his sprinter sideways and showered the 3rd turn grandstands with rocks and clods. Within 2 minutes there was 75 people at the back of his hauler ready to kick his ass. That crowd included Jimmy Sills and Jimmy Boyd. He could have been one of the best but he chose to be something other then that.

Wow. Blast from the past. This made me remember Jesse Keen and his untimely passing. Jesse was the owner of the 17 car and a very dedicated team owner. Also remember Tyler's first time at William's Grove. I ran into 2 guys on the way to the track with home made T W t shirts . White tees and black magic marker. Love him or hate him, the dude could get up on the wheel.

I was so happy to see someone finally do this. I struggled like Tyler so I felt extremely lucky to get to meet, conversate and work with Tyler when he came back to drive for Tom Buch in the Weichert memorial. Unfortunately we only got 1 night of racing in but I had the pleasure of camping out with him that whole weekend and when he came back for speedweeks. I felt his gf and sprintcars were the only thing keeping him going. Long story short though the media portrays him as a villain and sometimes unhinged, he's actually very quiet and humble to be around. Tyler i hope you get to read this and are doing well, your true fans miss you! 🏁 ZeeK ✌️

Of course that made him fun to watch because the drugs made him fearless.
