Wish these sat in the US and not people just buying to see if they can resell and make like 10 bucks. I got both of mine for retail so I’m not complaining and glad these are not hyped. People should be able to go in a store and buy the shoe if they like them and not people who hoard shit.

Facts

The Sacai LD Waffle is my second favourite silhouette behind the AM1. Definitely surprised to see these sitting, | think this is more of an indication of how much the resale market has fallen. Edison Chen said that he kept the design as close as possible to the AM1 models hence the Hyperfuse toe in the same style as the original AM1 Kiss Of Death 2. Neither colourway is as wearable as the Fragment models but I think the silhouette suits bold colourways just like the OG versions.

100% agree. I like that Edison Chen stuck with his original designs that made him a legend in the first place, instead of making an completely new design, which may not suit his brand and history.

It’s ok but I prefer a grey/ any of the swoosh colours to match the sole rather than gum colour which seems out of place. Furthermore I think this exact colourway in the vaporwaffle style ( like the SACAI sesames) would have performed better than standard LD waffle shape. Next, materials seem ok, a medium rating not the best. Finally we have upcoming vaporwaffle Sail (white) and also black gum releases due. I am holding out for that and suspect some people are also waiting for the release. Btw, you didn’t mention one of the swoosh is 3m reflective

These are 🔥 if you love your kicks and you wear them. If you’re just in the game to make bucks off the resale then you’ll get trumped. Which makes me happy “Wear your kicks” I’m glad I can cop these “heat on my feet” ✊🏽

Maybe because the materials are shit fused stuff instead og leather panels, which makes the front proportions really slim. Doesn't look good

Def a beautiful shoe, people must feel the Grey suede is nicer… how low will the next 2 go if people are starting feel LDV Waffles… Best thing about the amount of releases is that we benefit..
