To everyone who says Superman is too op for a game, think this: why are there Dragonball Z games or the like then? A Superman game can easily happen. I bet the problem is licensing and executives messing up. Seriously, I want to play as Superman. I'm tired of sooooo many Batman games. I don't want to play as a human anymore, I want the heat visioning, flying powerhouse. Compared to Batman, Superman is overpowered. However, almost everyone here has obviously never read a good amount of Superman stories or seen the plethora of villains he has. I want to fight aliens, monsters, robots, kryptonians, gods, and more! Screw the idea of Superman being overpowered. Let him be overpowered and let's play the hell out of that! Why is that a bad idea?

Hello, I agree that a superman game should be made if it can be done right. However DBZ games are pure fighting, their capabilities on the planet are not shown or cared for. What i mean is that DBZ games dont really have a living bustiling world or city, with people and buldings to destroy. There are maps sure, but even they are quite small and dont have great effects. The main point of Dragonball is combat, and thats what it is great at. But Superman is a superhero, its not exactly the same thing, because people dont want him to just fight, they want him to fly, use beams save people, destroy buildings and monsters when needed. If you want a superman that just fights, then injustice would be that title. But from you comment, you want a full superhero experience with an open world, with building and people running around. I want that to, but with powers like superman, essentially a god, it can get repetitive or boring in a game because flying adn heat vision will keep you entertained for a few hours max. Reason why batman arkham is so enjoyable is becuase the interaction between the world has so much more variety, batman cant just walk up to the villian, he needs to finds different ways to win, and that makes the player think outside of the box, then just going in and punch. With superman, its not the same, he can just walk in and beat most people. So you need giant creatures to fights like you said aliens and monsters and such, but that has been done before in superman returns, now the game has multiple flaws for sure, but repetitiveness was the biggest because it was essentially the same thing over and over again. You find a boss, you use your powers to beat him and rinse and repeat. A good superman game in my opinion will need an engaging story, and multiple different ways to tackle a situation so we gamers dont get bored with just superman fights. because if you want that then injustics is the game for you.

Or you could just take away his powers at the very begining by some kryptonite poisoning or red sun's light and then enhace the character till' he regains his full powers through the process of the game, and by the end you would have a massively-epic final boss battle.

_[The game is in suspended animation.]_ If you're doing superman anything, you need time, passion for Supermans stories, patience to want to nail the project properly, and knowledge & understanding of what his character is. To get the environments right, don't make the mistake by making it a Batman game with Superman in it. Make a bright-open- vibrant world- (opposite of Gotham). Daily Planet side missions, active NPC, planes maybe, citywide disasters and crime to avert, *Access to Smallville,* Smallville missions, *objectives to accomplish after the main story is completed,* utilize his powers & Rogues gallery correctly. Maybe some classic NPC characters like Lana, Pete, or even some other Hero cameos like Flash, or Booster Gold. Also, make said missions tailored to specifically make the player use Supermans powers practically in certain areas as you would Batmans utility belt. Have some *Kryptonite* powered enemies like Metallo, so players would get creative beside the *(Just punch him)* tactic, to mix it up. And don't just present is powers as just that, give his powers levels and upgradable features and more difficult enemies to fight as a result. *Bonus features so the player can get to know the Superman from the comics, alternate Supermans, etc etc *Like finding old issues in around Smallville like Action Comics #1 for cool stuff like suits or power upgrades.. And more importantly get *_Supermans character right._* *[Supergirl or Superboy DLC]: With Different gameplay suited to Supergirls acrobatic combat style and Superboys younger more brawler type moves. Ya know GET creative.* And maybe some Space missions, big maybe, like stopping meteors and shit. It's wishful thinking but i don't care if it takes 10 years, you get what you invest. *To make it good, do it better.* #Superman

If I saw a The Flash or Superman game or hell both. My dreams would come true. Haha! Obviously none of us can run faster than the speed of light or fly as fast or faster than a fighter jet. So being able to do those things in a really well produced game with really good graphics and controls. Well that would just be amazing.

I hope Superman will be published at one point. With the upcoming movies it would be great timing from DC to make games for their major characters like Flash in Central City including Grodd, the Rogues and Reverse Flash. Superman in Metropolis with Lex as the main villain and Doomsday for the last bossfight. A Wonder Woman game taking place in themyscira. A Green Lantern game featuring all the corps with some different earths and the universe to travel to. And my favorite idea for a game, a Trinity game with all of them being playable going against Darkseid and his army of parademons. I know I'm just dreaming here but a lot of people would throw their valets at them for more superhero games.

They can just tweak Batman's system. Use the Batmobile code as Superman's high speed running. Tweak Batman's flight into Superman's flight. Somehow convert Batman's system of attack, special moves, counter, dodge into both ground and aerial combat. Since Superman's strong they can do what DBZ does and use dust and cracks for whatever surface you knock your enemies into. Have them remain stuck to that surface to indicate a knockout. So many options.

I my opinion, they'll be a superman game title out within 2 years as you're saying Slcmof. however with the DCEU films coming out as a film series on the big screen, reckon long as the movie improve and gain more momentum. We'll be seeing more Batman videogames from Rocksteady, but the gaming industry will no doubt see alot of change with the Dc and marvel films being produced also. The whole atmosphere will move towards making more videogame movie tie-ins alongside the Arkham or newer DC superheroes receiving their own game series. *"The way i see it in the near future"* - *Batman games* (As per usual, ) - A all-new *Superman* based videogame - *"DC Expanded Universe Games"* (tie-ins to the later theatrical movies from Warner Brothers) -- *"CW TV Arrowverse"* series based games. - *DC Lego based games* (Expect more Batman games in the majority of these titles though?) - IPhone, Tab-let, digital trading cards, PC based titles (Think along the lines of "Clash Of Champions") Anything else might be one-offs or solo titles if they're independently made games by an small or unknown party! Thats basically how it'll all go down within the next 5 years or i'm gambling! But what's else one else's views on the situation!

The thing that DC/Warner bros has learned from the Arkham series is that tie-ins tend to fail hard. This is what Marvel has also learned which is why they don't make tie-in games anymore. They know that customers want a high quality triple A game that isn't rushed and this is all really because of the Arkham series, it created a standard for future superhero based games.

J Riley And thats your opinion, mine however addresses the fact, that as an avenue, it isn't always closed in terms of never doing a tie-in property games again. Sooner or later game companies will try again to try and get and manage as many; DC or Marvel movie or TV series based tie-in games to work though? Considering the "age" we're in now. You just can't tell me that concept won't ever be approached again by somebody out there?! Its just nuts to assume cos of past failures, tie-ins won't ever be done again. Somebody bound to take on all those risks one day in the near future i reckon! Whether they fail or not will depend on how well they're made and what mistakes of the past won't be repeated in making potentially far better videogames based on DC, Marvel or whatever other "Comic" property is popular with fandom!

I'd love to see one be made based on The Flash. Warners/DC need to do more than just stick with Batman and Superman 90% of the time and promote other DC superheroes. The recent change to the DC logo at the start of their movies al la Wonder Woman's movie, shows they're getting the message finally!

Here's an idea for a Superman game: Don't limit the game to just being on Earth. Make the game as big and grandiose as Superman himself. Superman is a homegrown American boyscout true, but he's also a freaking flying alien who can survive just about anything, and shoot concentrated heat from his eyes. How extraordinary is that? Give us a chance to explore this "extraordinary" side of Supes. Give us a chance to travel to different world's like Apokolips, New Krypton or Bizzaro world. We can travel through space as Superman. Make the game just as big and extraordinary, as him.

Smallville, Atlantis, metropolis maps, all villains, Clark Kent mechanics, WIDE variety of side missions, all powerful superman villains like doomsday, darkseid, brainiac, mongul etc☺️ a man can dream. He only needs to be at man of steel power level but flying higher will give him a buff. He could start as teen Clark learning his powers and slowly getting all his powers in smallville as he starts with super strength, durability and speed at low levels and fighting thugs and street level villains and robbers and the stronger he get the larger the scale, like saving an oilrig from collapsing or a plane, stopping terrorist attacks, natural disasters etc.

The first question that should ever be asked when making a Superman game: 1. What is the max power level Superman will be depicted as being at, IE, what is the worst that can happen from Superman's attack were he to go all out? Street Leveler? Block Buster? City Buster? Mountain Buster? Continent Buster? Planet Buster? What? The second question that should ever be asked is: 2. What is the max speed Superman will be depicted as being at, on foot and using his flight? Sub-Sonic? Sonic? Super-Sonic? Hypersonic? Orbital Velocity? Escape Velocity? Sub-luminal? Luminal? Super-luminal? What? The third question that should ever be assked is: 3. What will be the max limit of the size of the over-world of Metropolis or wherever? My closest? A square mile? Two square miles? A hundred square miles? What? 4. How detailed can you make the over-world while still maintaining it's size? Crappy? Okay? Good? Ultra 8K? What? When these four questions are answered adequately, we'll get our Superman game or, if we don't, it's not because of technical limitations, but story and gameplay laziness from the devs.

I'd love a game where you play as the flash or you can become your own flash. It would be pretty cool. With each job you do, you get more experience and can level up the flash to harness the speed force easier or do training and you can either be a chaotic flash (eg. Killing thugs and people and knocking down buildings etc.) or a hero flash (knocking out thugs, doing good deeds etc.) And you also get to customize your character with gear you find and pick up around the city and from battles.

Man I really wish to have a PS4 Superman game it needs to happen with a great story the game will be a massive hit

sadly the suicide squad game got cancelled because of poor box office it sucks because I loved the movie I saw it 4 times at the movies and I would love to play a suicide squad game

MrMovieLover Suicide Squad made 745.6 million USD globally. It got negative reviews but definitely NOT a box office failure. Thus the reason for the sequel and spin offs being produced.

They should do a Justice League Game to where you can play as every team member and free play as to where every city is linked to each other like for example by letting the flash hall ass from central city to the batcave or wayne manor,something like that would be amazing to play

I feel like the Superman game isn't in development since the bad rep past Superman games have had. I feel like if they are making a game it would involve the Justice League since there was references in Arkham Knight and if the Justice League did well then they would branch off and do a solo Superman game.

I think if they are going to make a superman game they should start it off as superman as a teenager and as the game goes and as he gets older in the game he will gain his abilities to fly and such..

A very good theory! One would hope that you're right, honestly - there's yet to be a good Superman game as you know. Poor guy's got the Curse of the Bambino, when it comes to games. He deserves a really fantastic game, which will take a lot of thought and a truly good story to back it up.

There needs to be a superman game. Also it would be a good starting point for making a Justice League game. Developing a superman game will help getting the tech for most of the powers needed for the other hereos. Super speed for flash, strength for wonderwoman and add some Arkham combat as well for her warrior side, Flying mechanics needs to be hammered down for Green Lantern and Shazaam. His eye lazers can also be a base for any long range firepower that cyborg uses.

What happened to the Suicide Squad game? I seen somewhere that it was scrapped.

Yoyo Ball I wouldn't mind a Jokesy easter egg about that, honestly lol Lex Luther created a meta-human bomb, and the only way to deactivate it is to fly though Kryptonite rings It gets harder as you get weaker, and the final battle with Luthor is hard af at first, but gets easier as your strength returns to you.

Tyler Jaynes I can wait for a Batman game arkham knight no complaints from me I wanna kick ass superman game that we need.A superman game can finally be done it's just who got the skills to nail it like on that Batman level to be honest they would have to go beyond even his games plus I'd presume it would be best to make it lengthy with rpg elements
