Hell of a recovery, couldn't have gone any better, and the perk that came with it can only come with the professionalism that Rick and team always show.
I’ve hauled cars for a Nationwide team back in 2013. It’s a decent gig, but you’re definitely not getting rich at it by any means. Sub contract labor, no benefits or insurance at most teams. It’s something I always wanted to do, I did it and had to move on to bigger and better things.

I did it for awhile back in the late 90’s/early 2000s. Way better off at the union job I’m at now.

@@PursellJr88 Started in the truck series pulling Ron Hornaday’s trucks. Then the team moved me up to Winston Cup and I drove Steve Park’s hauler. From late January to November it is 24/7 job. I found another job where I’d be home every night, so I left. It was time.

@@PursellJr88 I’m still a huge fan of the sport and still follow it closely. And yes. I can say I did it. A lot of NASCAR fans don’t realize the amount of responsibility involved in the hauler driver job. I was required to keep my rig clean inside and out at all times, I often unloaded the car by myself and got it ready for tech inspection when I arrived at the track, I was responsible for keeping track of parts inventory on the truck, I often times handled cooking at the track for the entire team, on race day I would cart the gas cans to get refilled in between pit stops . Pack it up at the end of the day Sunday, head back to Moorseville and have about 2 days turnaround time to get ready to go to the next track. Clean the rig inside and out/maintenance work, go through the parts inventory onboard, then we’d load the cars and head out again. It was a non stop cycle with the exception of a couple of off weeks.
01:05, I get tears seeing some else using the "3"... Never forget that race / Incident..
Nice job dropping in a plug for the sponsor golden boy :) I think Monster should hook you up with a few cases!!

Tony and Rusty Rush are good friends..... Rush is the largest Peterbuilt Dealer in the world....he has no problem handling trade in and used trucks to resale....
That off the road at the guard rail. Was the first video of your business I watched. Along side of the road is the worst places I’ve ever worked. Except for in the lane it’s self. People just don’t seem to care anymore. The whole thing shows no matter how much you love what you are doing. It can all go south in a instant. Love that front loader by the way.
Awesome footage by Gabe. Then the comedic audio by wrecker Rick is something that makes this channel classy. Keep it up guys awesomeness as usual.
Love your W900 and the color! Sweet!! Awesome you guys and your families were hooked up to be behind the scenes of NASCAR!! Great footage!!
❤new sub here! What a team effort in saving the Monster trailer! I’ve been a long time (25+ yrs) NASCAR fan in the top 3 series. But I’m a lifelong supporter of the behind the scenes crews that make the wheels turn. As a retired nurse, I know first responders get well deserved attention to the work they do at accident scenes, but I honestly believe that those that respond for the towing and recovery are just as important. I know that there are things seen at a crash scene most could not handle, you do. You also put yourselves in danger with some of the recoveries that you do. This Monster trailer is a prime example of this. That did not stop any of you from stepping in, doing what needed to be done, remaining calm and getting the job done. I also appreciate the humor, people do not realize that in a stressful situation you need that as a release of the tension that you are under, with no disrespect of the incident you are responding to. I’m so glad you were able to spend time behind the scenes of an active race, well earned and much deserved! I look forward to following your channel in the future and looking back at your previous material. God bless and protect you!
Great work brother! As a NASCAR and Stewart Hass fan I found this channel last 2 videos were awesome and truly your video and audio quality is top notch! God Bless Boys! 🇺🇸

Hey great upload thanks for posting and would you know how long did it take Stewart Hass Racing to get the tractor back and get it back to North Carolina and the replacement tractor if I may ask who did it belong too thanks to you all for saving the day for Stewart Hass Racing I bet Tony Stewart and Gene Hass really appreciates what you all done and watch first upload and what a fine job you all done about getting tractor and race hauler out of that ditch and getting it to Las Vegas I drove trucks for almost 30 year s retired in August 2019 would not mind working part-time for either a towing company or nascar team as far as towing company is concerned how could I go about it is there going to be another upload about the Stewart Hass Racing tractor if so look forward to it and any other uploads you put out youall stay safe keep up the fine work and take care.

Teamwork 👍
My lord wish I had a yard like yours to learn how to back doubles or should I just say the lead and the tandem axle Jo-dog. The slightest little stone or hole and it’s all over the place. It’s great since they are dump trailers every lot is rocks and holes. You get good or you get gone backing anything.
I was really sad that the big rig drivers were treated like that.
Whoever was pulling that trailer with a red 379 on sunday late afternoon, flew by me on 40 at the OK/TX line.

@@gullreefclub You're not kidding. I used to work at Talladega SuperSpeedway. Our office was inside a concrete block building. Now add in fans, HVAC, nonstop phone calls, and multiple people talking. You could still hear the Top Fuel guys when they lit up. They were across a parking lot, a multilane access road, another parking lot, across the unaffiliated Talladega race track (an awesome dirt oval in 2001), and then behind a tree line. Those boys were LOUD!

As others point out, Penske does not own Freightliner. Look at the relationships though... Freightliners are probably the most popular leased tractor (Penske Truck Leasing), Freightliner uses Detroit Diesel engines (a Penske Corp company), sprinkle in some Freightliner dealerships to sell & service those trucks (Penske Automotive), and Penske Racing provides a literal rolling advertisement for all of the above. The Captain is an amazing businessman, and there isn't a venture he's involved in, that doesn't feed the rest of the machine in some way.
