This short historical look at The Honeycombs was great. Thanks very much for compiling so much information and knitting it together with appropriate video and photos. Well done!

Just a little correction to Dave Dee, Dosy, Beaky Mick and Titch. “Titch “ is pronounced like “itch” it means a little person in the UK, Britain - sometimes something an older sibling would say to a little brother or anyone might say to someone of short stature. With Dave Dee’s band it seems to be an endearing nickname, but it was often used dismissively. Great post BTW - I love the Honeycombs.

Honey Lantree was a really good drummer, she was also a good singer and sang on some of the other Honeycombs records. Sadly no longer with us, RIP Honey.

I was a ten or eleven year old N London kid at that time. I bought a 45 every week and contributed to their number one hit. My cousin and I used to sing and stomp along.

I went with my girlfriend to the Honeycombs performance at the Town Hall, in Wellington New Zealand in what must have been 1966/67 around then. Great fun. Their guitars fascinated me because they had these horns just like a Scarab Beetle. Latter I learned they were Burns guitars.
