What Happened to the First Chat Noir?
In Miraculous Ladybug, Adrien Agreste wasn't always Chat Noir. Before Adrien, there was Felix Agreste, better known as Felix Graham de Vanily. Felix is now Adrien's cousin, but he used to be the original secondary protagonist of Miraculous Ladybug. So what happened to him, and why was he replaced? And more importantly, what's his purpose now that he's back in the show?

So, who do you guys like more as Chat Noir? Personally I'm more of a fan of Adrien. 😺
I kinda understand why they decided to replace Felix with Adrien: Felix's character. The whole brooding bad boy schitck is overused and would have been another example of the Brooding Boy, Gentle Girl trope.
I noticed that Mari was more innocent in the anime, more bubbly and easy going, Mari in the cartoon is an ordinary girl with low self esteem, but with caring family and friends. Idk
If you watch miraculous office au, you can see how well they could’ve written Felix if they just put time into his character development from cold to someone sweet in the inside but struggling to show it because of his upbringing. I personally think replacing him with someone that’s already "perfect" seems lazy.
He got tired of Plagg’s cheese obsession.
No. Thomas just doesn't understand what character development clearly is. Had they just done a crush at first sight that slowly evolves into a more understanding love then the relationship could have worked out. Felix/Adrien is socially awkward/confused/ignorant with a manipulative parent. He is going through some grief and has a lot of stress which makes him stand offish to people and comes off as an a-hole sometimes, but slowly Mainette helps him understand everything and he goes from gloomy gus to a much wittier and kinder guy. A slow burn love, but it still definitely could have worked out.
WAIT I WOULD LITERALLY LOVE THE 2D VERSION OF MIRACULOUS
I love Felix but he was just a huge cliche and i like Adrien a lot better
I think Felix’s Mom is perfect for Adrien and Gabriel’s Dad is perfect for Félix
Sometimes I feel that Adrien's not Gabriel's son....Felix is...but maybe that's my thought.
I’d really like to see more of Felix, perhaps even find out why Felix is the way he is
He gets his own episode in a story-driven show, and then he never appears again.
The writers: we didn't use felix because it was too hard to make their dynamic likeable and believable.
Honestly, Felix deserves to have more episodes. Felix is awesome! I know he's a jerk but i don't care! He's so interesting as hell!
I honestly think the 2D version would have been MUCH funnier with the, “Chemistry”.
Honestly, I think that most people like Adrien more because we haven’t really had time to get to know Felix more and spend time with him and his character.
i feel like Felix is actually Gabriel’s son and Adrien is the other girls son, because she said that they always play tricks and switch “people” so I think that they switched
the fact that Felix's mother lost her husband and her sister hasn't stopped her from having fun with felix. Then take a took at G a b r i e l
the fact that when Gabriel found out Adrienne was cat noir he through him across paris. WHAT GReAt parenting!!
