I looovveee me some Lloyd who I call this generations Ralph Tresvant... Players prayer... A night off with Drake.. Sucka with August Alsina.. and the acoustic live version of Tru and when I'm feeling nostalgic Southside always makes me smile... These still get played weekly.. That soft voice just does something to me lol... He has bangers!

I saw him on the Millenium Tour 2020 right before the pandemic. It was their second show. He sounded really good. I got to meet him as well. He is very very nice. Glad he's still doing well!

I only know Lloyd from one song You. The rest of his body of work I have no idea, much less that he released as many albums as he has. Keep up the great work and try to incorporate my suggestions. It's a trip that "Girls Around the World" only had moderate success. That's my favorite Lloyd track (another favorite is "Telegraph Ave. (Oakland)" where he collabed with Childish Gambino)! Also, what Irv Gotti said about Lloyd was disgusting. Between that and the mess he had to say about Ashanti, I really have to question his character.

Interesting... Lloyd Polite Jr. I don't think I've ever heard an N-Toon record. I decided to pause the video and go preview the band's music and...well... I'm not really feelin' it. I've gone on record a number of times expressing my displeasure for R&B of the aughts. Nah, when I first heard Lloyd's debut, I thought he had a beautiful voice. Homeboy got some range on him, yo. It's the material that didn't pull me in. By that period, I was grown and had other things on my mind. Perhaps one day I'll go back and preview his LPs. I'm simply not in the mood right nah. Anyway, for that period, Lloyd Polite Jr. and Mario Barrett were the best, vocally. Too bad it didn't work out for Lloyd though. Of course Irv Gotti got hella emotional and started doin' too much. Look, artists ain't got no time to be waiting around all on account of being "loyal." Murder Inc. was crumbling so what was he supposed to do? He knows that this industry discards artists like yesterday's news so you gotta get it while the gettin' is good. One thing about Lloyd though, his mic is always on and he sounds bomb live.

I always thgt he was signed to Young Money. I didn't realize all of the label hopping he was doing. I wanna know how he was able to leave all of those different labels. You always hear artists complain about a label not letting them out of their contract. What did Lloyd know other artists didn't know? - - The tables certainly changed when he was ordered to get his former manager a job. What does Lloyd know about HR and trying to get his old manager a job?
