Most of the pictures that Carti took back then, his newgrowth was really long. You can tell lately he’s been keeping his hair retwisted ALOT more which really isn’t all that healthy, especially with how he used to always dye it. Dreadlocks aren’t supposed to be a hairstyle, but a way of life essentially. If Carti doesn’t restart his dreads now and go easier on the growth of them over the years, they gonna start falling out like Wayne’s.

Buggin out on “do the right thing” had the first high top locs I seen

You’re gunna have to go trough the forehead stage anyways but if you really wanna hide it so badly just grow it out as long as you can. My twists grew like 3cm in a little less than two months and you don’t have to worry about it too much, just take care of em. Idk how long your hair is rn but if you want dreads I’m pretty sure you could start right now because sometimes short twists and locks look pretty good. Goodluck!
