What Happened To My Mercedes W123?
Автокөліктер мен көлік құралдары
After the rust around the rear window was repaired, my classic Merc disappeared from the channel! Turns out, I'd shot another video on it, just forgotten to upload it...

Hi Miller! The car looks great. I need to say that I also own w123 2.0 diesel which is currently in state of the turbo restauration mode . I hope that the new engine and a few rust spots will be done in a month and it will become my new daily. For anyone that calculates - good Merc diesel daily drive will save you a ton of electric/electronic repair money you will otherwise pay to your local mechanic for your out of the warranty hot hatch. I brought the decision the moment that I payed 150 euros the 3rd time for broken key card for my Renault Scenic (aside from other maulfunctions) . It is a bit slow but merc takes 8L of fuel combined.
Glad I found your channel! Great work. I can't wait to get a W123 again.

Thanks for joining along! 😁
Loved your rant at the person who installed the electric aerial! 🤣🤣 I guess he didn't read the instructions either! How about a road trip to the Mercedes-Benz Museum in Stuttgart?

Excellent review! Gee, you have a good car there and it’s wonderful to see you bringing her back to her best.

Thanks David, means a lot 😁
I remember fitting a new retractable aerial to my GTV and being dead chuffed. It was a source of entertainment to many who had never seen an aerial go up or down before as they were too young 😂
“Fag burns” for any non uk subscribers means burns from a cigarette, not a slur. I said it once on my other channel and nearly got cancelled 😂😂😂
Another great video Joe, part of the fun of owning a classic is fixing other peoples piss poor attempts at repairs or bodges lol. The seat looked a lot better, and is does make you wonder about how many butts have been sat in it lol.
Boot seal getting a little rusty. Whip it off and give it a rub with an oily rag or something 😊
I think I would have tried to fit the pioneer speaker grills on the new speakers so they look more period correct.
I think a stainless steel manual would have been more appropriate for the car Joe, your car your choice I guess. Inside is looking good, what about the other seats now.

Sorry mate but the new aerial is a complete eyesore and totally wrong for a classic car. What was wrong with a normal static mast?
