It’s refreshing to hear more of Lay’s perspective. The more he reveals about their career puts a lot of what the fans saw in better context especially with us all being older now.

Out of the groups they had, I think the most relevant til this day is The Graveyard Shift ... They made great music on the Mo Thug albums and the Bone features from E 1999 Eternal and Krayzie's solo ... Tombstone who was murdered was a great Lyricist and could produce !!! He produced Rumors & War ft Flesh N Bone, Killing Fields, II Tru's I got Ya Back, Low Down by Souljah Boy & Krayzie Bone .. we got robbed of a amazing and talented groups

Everyone that never had guidance has to learn via trial and error. I'm glad these guys got the opportunity to make mistakes and still were able to dust off and try again. Not many artistsbare able to try again because that one mistake was all it took to keep them down.

Bro this aint 1996 or 1998 anymore. Nobody in 2023 wanna hear old mo thug artists. Its dead. They are damn near in their 50's now the only ppl who would listen are some mo thug fans and maybe some bone fans. Bone needs to focus on themselves and drop an album. IMO Bone made a mistake creating mo thugs they had 2 albums in 2 years and in 1996 they should've just released a third album to stay relevant. Focusing too much on mo thugs ended up hurting their career. It should have been Bone album, 2 Bone solos, Bone album, 2 Bone solos, etc. they would have had a better career doing this.

The beats started to become very weak and watered down especially with Bone after the album that had the ecstasy song on it, they put out a lot of watered down rushed albums, until swizz beats brought them back in 2006 with that album , so they started out with a BANG with Creeping on a come up, Est99, Art of war, and all their first solo albums, especially that first bizzy bone heavens story, and Krayzie bone double disc thug mentality, bit then they started to lose the budgets and dropped a lot of weak rushed independent albums 💯
