I use to play mad city in 2020-2022, the game averaged an impressive 15-25k player count. After chapter 2 came out, it now averages 2k-5k which is extremely low

as a dedicated mad city player, im so pissed about mad city, because the devs simply dont give a fuck about the players wishes. They just do what they want and expect everyone to shair their mindset. I LOVED ch 1, the pvp, the heists, all the fun things you could do other than robbing, but in ch 2 its so repetitive and boring, and the updates that come give us things that we never wanted in the first place.

I was the biggest mad city fan from day 1 no fought about it. Once they released chapter 2 it became more pay to win and they ruined everything from keeping something old that really brought the game together to straight up changing how you run, how you rob things how you fly planes and the thing that really killed mad city was how pay to win it is now.

Mad City was such a good game but now it's become so crappy, events aren't even creative anymore, it's been the same copy paste method since the first Christmas event of Chapter 2 and honestly I'm only playing Mad City to get my spins from the daily wheel

Used to prefer mad city now I prefer Jailbreak. I used to remember during 2019-2020 how fun mad city was grinding and actually giving a vibe of mad city now I forgot it until I saw this video.

Back then mad city also was actually fun

Don't forget that asimo and badcc used to be friends with the Mad City developers, they even played their other old games such as Twisted Murderer and Fashion Famous way before Mad City came out. But ever since Mad City came out, they started becoming enemies and not friends anymore.

i realy miss chapter one mad city when it was exiting and the daily event where crazy good. Im so sad it died and now its probably gonna stop updating after trading update coz of the competition

Here is my hypothesis of why mad city died The cyber truck update destroyed the devs' reputation players saw that they were becoming greedy back then madcity had I kid you not 70k players then mad city also started to get repetitive after the cyber truck update the player count dipped i don't know but Jailbreak's player count stayed the same but mad city's dipped I'm not too sure what happened to the prison game genre players

I personaly think that madcity did a way better job. rather jailbreak had been around for more time and still... we are in this scene. but anyways madcity is a p2w scam. like bro I PAID 300 ROBUX FOR A SINGULAR GUN THAT IS SO TRASH EVEN THE AK IS BETTER but the cars, robberies, guns fell LIKE ROCKSTAR NORTH MADE THIS GAME. IT'S A COPY OF GTA V it looks diferent but makes more sense doing it that way.

Mad city now become grinding games. Although, u can earn money faster than Jailbreak but the developer keep making expensive vehicles which cost more than 1M, and the most expensive vehicle is about 12M. But new Jailbreak store opening time is bad. Every robbery (not donut, gas station and mansion) opening time is follow the schedule. U can see the pattern of these store open at same time: - old bank, j store, museum - power plant, plane, passenger train - ship, cargo train, tomb - new bank, casino In public server, most of the time, u have to miss one robbery. In old jailbreak, u can skip the robbery that give u less money when every place is open. But now, u need to rob the store (even it give u less money) to open new robbery, or u need to wait for a while. So u can earn slower in new jailbreak.

also the fact they kept updating it every other week, the graphics and game controls also became way to modified

I am telling yall, once gta 6 is out we'll get to see a lot of jailbreak competitors and jailbreak will return to its old glory and rule the platform.

I was one of those people who used to say mad city was better but ever since chapter 2 came out I dipped man, started playing bedwars than toh and now jailbreak or a while ago but I have played jailbreak since 2020

I mainly play mad city not because it's more fun but because all my stuff is on it. If I was New to roblox I would pick jailbreak over mad city.

I wish mad city and jailbreak would just collaborate with each other to make both of the there games better

mad city is way better i think, the vehicles/updates are awesome i just think it needs to be a bit more simplistic and the map should be changed to something better.

@@lll_llll_lll well, it has a chance of happening. The reason for this is because gta 6 is the most hyped game in the world, and a lot of kids can't play gta in the meantime. So they go to any gta like game that is on roblox (or not even on roblox) and those games get a lot of traction because they are similar to gta. (There's examples of this sort of stuff happening, like the fnaf movie just came out and a lot of fnaf games are doing really well, and blox fruits which is based on a very popular anime)

Mad city WAS a good game, but when chapter 2 came out it was the worst thing mad city could have done. Nobody likes chapter 2 including me, well I like chapter 2, but not NEARLY as much as I did chapter 1.

If you're talking about Taymaster, he didn't quit. He had a big drama with another developer right after the live event came out, causing him to stay off of social media. Aside from that, Mad City is still a good game, especially with how the UI and robberies are designed, I still think it's good. However, with the recent updates being not really good and the team slowing them down, the game went under 1K CCU for the first time since it was released. The recent updates were lacking in quality, and for the sake of performance, they shrunk the map instead of making it bigger even though they have a better performance system than Jailbreak. There aren't new robberies, no gun rework, they were gonna re-do the entire prison once again and it looked very cool, but they just decided to scrap that and return it to the old version. And in a recent update, they have actually added a P2W mechanic into the game, causing even more players to get off the game. Aside from updates, for new players, the game is pretty hard to play. The gun mechanic is very inconsistent, vehicles are hard to operate, and there are no guides to lead new players on what they have to do. There's very little to do, and the map is small so you can't really explore anything. And now again with a recent update, they updated really fun robberies like bank to be boring like Jailbreak lol. Mad City had a lot of potential, sad to see it dying but it was going to happen inevitably.

I miss the good old days when mad city had season 1 I use to be in air wars with everyone in the server and it was Warhawk vs nighhawks vs cobras and we teamed on the police In jail and stole there cards and had wars with cops and heroes and now it’s dead and barley anyone in the server

Mad city released way too much at once, like everything got remade in chapter 2, but jailbreak slowly revamps robberies and features that it's more exciting when a small thing get revamped instead of being ignored in mad city because it's not as big as the other things

At the start of chapter 2, it was my favorite game but it started to go down hill. They started adding useless updates, adding the same cars with a different look and they broke the game in the last update. The ai shoots me through cars, first person sucks, i dont know why they couldnt keep fresh chapter 2 and just add decent updates. Like i would grind out this game and get 50 million cash and buy every car and now i cant even do that since the ai is too broken

To be honest, surprisingly I was a mad city fan but since chapter 2 came out..I instantly switched to jailbreak because it is just an overall better game now

Tbh I've been playing since the museum update (2018), and it's not rlly repetitive. The only thing I find repetitive is js the robberys themselves

Mad city might take over jailbreak again as they are bringing back ch 1 for who knows how long and this could beat jailbreak and mad city ch 2

to be honest 2019-2020 mad city was the better game due to the content and the "fresh feeling" it seemed like jailbreak got a whole rework

It went all the way down to ~700 players a couple days ago. Mad City still has a lot of potential but it's probably too late to revive that game. Player count is far too low to really change anything

The code was at the end of chapter 1 so bad and it was hard to update the game so they scripted the whole game again and that is why mad city chapter 2 is here but people did miss the old mad city because it changed so much and the main reason was the pvp system in chapter 2 in chapter 1 you just had to klick an enemy now the bullets have to hit the other guy most of the pvping community left because of that reason

After mad city chapter 2 season 2, I quited mad city. Tbh their updates aren't too bad but I still prefer chapter 1(idk why, nostalgia?), and I start to notice and realize their updates after season 2 are ALL for money, just take a look at this year's Halloween event and the Christmas event last year. That game is no longer mad city...

i just prefer mad city because jailbreak ´s new robbery system is awful so it is easy for the cops to know where i am the arresting is so easy that i cannot even defend myself i don´t care much about player interactivity also jailbreak´s guns are awful but i also don´t like mad city´s map being outrageously smaller then jailbreak´s map if jailbreak can run smoothly with such a large map mad city could also do!

2:29 best part of the video 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 I prefer Mad City because: Their seasons are free. They have my dream jet (A10). I fell in love with the Incinerator because my brain understood how to use it. Their game looks less realistic. More to specific easy heists. (Because some of the vehicles are ridiculous with their prices). What I despise about Mad City is: The NPCs aim accuracy. (That’s all)… Overall I don’t mind the bugs as long as I have fun I’m fine with being patient for the major updates.

@@devnandannair2336 I don't feel like playing JB because of how realistic some stuff is. I did play JB once to check out the trade update. I'm patient enough to wait for MC to add their trade update. When they add trading then I'll be doing weekly giveaways on my channel to my subscribers. Currently, I just hunt criminals down bec MC is kinda boring so I spice things up by switching to a challenging team which is the cop team because it doesn't have super powers...but...if you kill enough criminals for a specific task you can get a huge paycheck from the cop team while collecting the bounties.

@@bobbywalls1239 K tbh idk my mind thinks something is too realistic. I think it is because I haven’t played JB in a while to why my mind thinks it’s too realistic. XD What I don’t like are some of the controls for movement. MC and JB have different movements so I’m more used to MC’s stuff than JB’s stuff and some of JB’s stuff is a bit complicated. I think why my mind thinks JB is too realistic is because of the graphics. I think JB has certain graphics that MC doesn’t have. Otherwise if the graphics is the same then imma just remove the realistic part because idk why my mind thought that something of JB is a bit too realistic.

@@bobbywalls1239 Does JB also have a settings where you can modify the graphics because I think that’s why I think JB is a bit too realistic (could be bec of the graphics bec I have all the settings for the graphics off in MC due to the low strength of the family PC I have). Tbh I like the graphics being off because it allows me to see more when the graphics in MC is off. So, that might be the reason why I think JB is too realistic (might be bec of the graphics otherwise I’ll remove the realistic part from my replied comment to @devnandannair2336).
