2004 Patriots, only team this century to repeat is maybe the best team in NFL history. Criminally underrated. Their path to the superbowl was: Facing Peyton Mannings Colts who at the time were the #1 offense in NFL history. Patriots held them to 3 points. Facing the 15-1 Steelers, #1 defense that season and a defense that ranks top 10 all time in many categories. Patriots scored 40 points on them.

I’m a hawks fan. I remember watching the 2014 bowl. THAT GAME WAS OURS. I about teared up when we beat Green Bay the game before. We March down the field to score the winning TD. Kearse had that unreal catch to get us in the red zone. When the interception happened my heart fell to my stomach. I’ve never felt so much rage in such a short amount of time. And then of course all the women there had to be like “so what does this mean?” They asked like 5 times before me (a little kid at this point) was like “we fuckin lost the game that’s what happened” and they got mad at me cause there was still time left on the clock. God I was so fuckin mad. STILL AM! We were still a decent team after that. But our team fell apart after that loss. It was sad to see.

@@MichaelMurphy-kj3xf Troy Brown was washed. He did not play much as a WR. Ben Watson played 1 game. He got hurt. Others are below average role playing recievers who never in their career came close to sniffing a pro bowl. I don't think they have one 1000 yd season between them. They might not have one 900 yd season between them (I am not sure). Deion Branch the only one that might be considered average. He was a Kendrick Bourne level player. Maybe a little quicker. A prototypical no.3. Daniel Graham was a Nick Boyle type of player(Ravens). A 6th offensive lineman mostly cause they had struggles to protect at the right side (right tackle). If you lived in that time - you would know

Givens scored a TD in 7 straight playoff games including two Super Bowls. If you were a Pats fan you would know just how valuable all these guys were. Meanwhile, the 2010 Packers barely beat Caleb Hanie Chicago in the NFCC

Aa a Chiefs fa, I think it would be fair to say that the SuperBowl defense sucked so badly due to COVID. We had 7 starters out that game, 3 of which were starting probowler Offensive lineman and is the reason Maholmes was running for his life all game with no TD's. COVID really jacked this season up, especially the NFL rule to force players to set out if around others with COVID, even though they didnt show any signs of showing COVID. Also keep in mind, that the Chiefs beat the Bucs in the season and the Bucs readjusted with lots of money for high end players to beat the Chiefs later on. Their top notch team was bought to contend with the Chiefs later on in the playoffs, ended up being SuperBowl and they were perfectly setup to dominate them without all those starters. Shitty ending for us Chiefs fans, but we we are very happy to have the team we have now, only took 50 years to acquire :)
