Dayday/David Kim is working a lot with Simon (JAKOPS) and XG now! He directed a lot of their raps, also wrote some XG songs. Last I heard, Daniel is working as XG's A&R (artists & repertoire) but idk if it's confirmed. Intae (Inati) and Dari both own clothing shops now, and Jisu is coming back under the name JISU PARK. Donglim used to release songs under the name "TRAP" (Butter Beer, etc) I'm glad that they still kept in contact with e/o👍

So Simon has been producing XG, but on there "Left Right" official mv credits (2023) it shows Simon (Jakops) as the EPD and PD, and the same person.

I was just thinking that. I also watched that video of simon and XG, introducing the new XGALX documentary to come, before this video and he was introduced as Jakops (Simon). If you also look under the lyrics for all of XG’s songs, Jakops name is credited for the production of the songs.

1 Simon, ex Kpop idol (Dalmation/DMTN);, song writer, producer he uses "Jakops" as his name. Simon Kim is the Ceo of Avex sublabel XGALX and PD for XG. His vision, his strategy, and a lot of his hard work. He's half Korean and Japanese, like Hinata, lived in US. Fluent in Japanese, Korean and English, like he's trying to make the girls. He was Singer/Rapper too.

I forgot about this group, always one I heard about but never dived into until I got into XG now. So much talented artists for sure

Thanks for this video. I always think about them and how they deserved better. Daniel was my favorite member and I remember him expressing on ig about how insecure he felt after his incident. I don’t know much about what dayday is doing aside from the fact that he directs XG with their raps and co-wrote one of their songs. I always liked that they remained close after all these years, every once in a while reuniting.
