Iv been going Thailand 30 years and numerous times at Christmas and that’s the busiest I have ever seen it I had a great time

Yes Pattaya was very crowded ...but here in Melbourne was the same with fireworks and 100.000 thousand people around the river. Very nice hotel there for the price. Have a nice day and take care always

actually we consider soi boakhao is the second walking street .. the difference is that this road has vehicle and the other one does not in the evening

Normally I stay in two star hotels around 700 baht/night. As long as it's clean, has AC and hot shower, provides bottled water, and maid service cleaning, it's all good.
