Great video concept, thanks for sharing how the campaigns performed. I typically do really low bids even for the few manual campaigns I do, because I don't want to spend time maintaining them (for FBA I spend a lot more though) 👌

I was looking forward to this video when you mentioned it previously I have never done an ad per shirt so I think I will give that go. I used to them by niche, 0.20 bid, downbid only but I never even noticed the section where you can break it down by ad target. Do you do any lottery ads? All asins in one campaign with a set bid of 0.05 or 0.10, or 0.15, or 0.20 - I have been messing with those this year and they have been profitable. (you can only ad 1000 asins at a time to the adgroup though so that can be annoying) I also tried sponsored brands which can be sort of hard setting them up as they have to be approved before they go live and they are strict on 400x400 px logo. They seem to get a lot of exposure and clicks so I am interested in fine tuning that.

Yes I have tried lottery ads... they are pretty good too. I should do more
Juna, I am not on Amazon (MBA) yet, so have not looked into ads there yet, so am ignorant of how they work. I did watch this video, as I like how you (and Ryan) present tips and info. In a future video where you discuss ads on. Amazon, please explain what is meant by "bids" in that use or how to use "bids" in the ads on Amazon. That may be basic info (I don't know) and might help others too.
@DetourShirts

Bids is basically how much you are willing to pay for an ad.... the person with the higher bid will get seen more on Amazon but it will cost them..... as you can image some topics have higher bids.... Amazon will suggest to you what bid they think you should start at and you can adjust
Thanks for sharing this, now I feel like I know more about amz ads

Great video. That's a good information. If I could add just one thing it would be that people need to understand that when you do ads you are playing the long game. This means you are spending money to see results that will be more evident weeks or months down the line. If done right each month should build off of the other months. For example last month I spent a little over $400 and had about 4% profit from my ads. This month I spent so far about $1400 and have about 30% profit from ads.

I noticed you created adds per design. Do you recommend that more than placing several designs under 1 campaign, maybe under varying add groups? For example, a few different fantasy football designs.
@DetourShirts

You can do that too.... I've done it before and it works pretty good
You should do a weekly community showcase for lower tier stores to receive some publicity and give honest critique from the art, product name, and description. just an idea, and it could also give a unique take when it comes to posting KZread vids?

Hello 👋 Juna. Thanks for the update. I have downloaded tons of your videos that am listening with rapt attention to enable me set up a standard POD store. Am presently setting up a teepublic store. Kindly guide me on the following. 1. What is the right px for cover photo 2. What is the right px for avatar 3. What is the right px for profile picture 4. Do I need to use USPTO to cross-check my main tag and supporting tags on teepublic 5. Can I get banned using tags on teepublic if yes how can one avoid it 6. Do I need to upload minimum 15 designs on my social media platform to get my store approved by teepublic. Looking forward to your prompt response. Thank you for your generosity. Regards to your family.

1. Cover Photo:1000px x 300px or larger 2. Avatar: 324px x 324px or larger 3. Profile Picture: 324px x 394px or larger 4. It's nice to use USPTO but most times you will be okay 5. Avoid using copyrighted names, names of people, teams, songs, etc. 6. I don't think there is a minimum of 15 designs... I never heard of that one before
Juna, I've watched your videos for a while now and your designs and skills are fantastic...If you spend more money on ads, your products would get so much more visibility and I bet your sales would really take off!

Hi, Many thanks for another great video. Just a quick question please. On your ads campaign dashboard, the top line shows total orders for January. I do not have that total top line on my dashboard. Did I do something to remove it and how can I bring it back ? Many thanks and best regards

Hello Juna. Can you please give an advice what to do if you’ve got rejected by march by Amazon? Thank you.

I would try again.... try at a different time of the month next time... make sure to add a link to your designs on other PODs if you have some
I hate to bug you but I have a question about Amazon advertising. I’ve noticed there are times when there are sales indicated in the ad console and some of those sales are not reflected in the amazon Merch on Demand console. I sent a note to Amazon advertising and their response was “Please know that Amazon Advertising sales are not recorded the same way that Amazon Merch on Demand sales are recorded.” If that’s the case then how can you trust the metrics in the advertising sales console?
@DetourShirts

Do you put an ad on every variation of the design (v neck, premium, standard, hoodie, popsocket, etc.) or just on the products with a specific profit per sale? Thanks for all the great content, Juna!

Up your bids
The real questions would be how much you get compared to when you don't use adds... And, even when adds are not profitable, is it interesting to use them to actualy make more sales and boost your visibility on the site that way? So maybe using adds for a bit to make sales is interesting in the long run even those sales are not profitable right in the moment.

That's a good question.... would those designs sell or get as many sales without ads.... It's hard to say... I do get sales with designs that I don't have ads

Add increase positive expectation. Maybe 80% of your profits come from 20% of your product lines so spending 80% of your AD budget on your top 20% sellers is the best strategy

Hi, I have finally Ads enabled but I can only see German and Spain market available while all my sales are on US market. Is this normal? I had a lot of sales recently but yesterday noticed that all sales was slowed down by 50% and today Ads tab appears so do they limited my sale in purpose to use their ads system? :) Smells like that to me... @maximusDMR
8 ай бұрын
@@DetourShirts Hi, thanks for your replay, but what do you mean by US ASIN's? I've contact amazon support regarding those two irrelevant ad markets but they are not able to help me. The amazon support literally doesn't exist because it looks like this "As mentioned in our previous correspondence we cannot enable your account through this support channel. I'm sorry we don't have another team to forward your concerns to. Once your account has been enable for the additional marketplaces you will be able to advertise in said marketplaces. If you either do not see buttons for the other marketplaces in the advertise tab, or the buttons do not work, this means your account has not yet been enabled for those marketplaces." There is no one to answer my questions properly and no one to advice :( I was hoping to get the ads before Christmas but I can rely only on my hope :)
I'm still in Ukraine (because my wife refuses to leave) and we were only getting 2-4 hours of electricity per day. I was so busy trying to create and upload designs that I kept forgetting to check my ads. In Q freaking 4. I had one that just destroyed me. Made Amazon happy. I had a Chinese New Year shirt that cost me twice as much in ads than I made in sales. Ad spend on that shirt alone was $400.
