I also got a silky bag to protect the case. They said the one on the inside (the bag) is for the glasses.

Hello I bought a pair this weekend from Sunglass hut i have everything in the box (which is green and lovely) but the authenticity card is blank it doesn't have the model number on etc. should that actually be filled in ? x thank you

I mean it should be okay, but if you want it, they would have one to give you. I dont get why people aren't getting them, it comes in the bag the glasses come on every single one of them.

I got prescription but the Og lenses they took out have Gucci engraved my new prescription lenses dont, ray and engrave theirs best thing to do is get them from the store, so you can sleep at night, if you didn’t get them from store

Hello! So I am planning to buy myself a pair in the coming weeks. I will either buy them from Nordstrom or sunglasses hut. The only question I have is Because of all the craziness with covid 19, I have to order them online since the stores are not open. How will I get to choose the color case I prefer ? Do they give you that option after you purchase? Or before? I either want the black or the red.

I ordered the GG0337O (001 51) from shades station for £149, they’ve arrived with the case, satin bag, glasses cleaner, authenticity card which reads the same and the glasses. They say made in Japan on the side and they don’t feel too weighty .. however searching up the code lots come up. Unsure as it says made in Japan and I was imagining them to be much heavier. Please help??

They are made in Japan if they are titanium or made from Acetate

I got mine from sunglass hut and it came with the red one plus the cloth and the drawstring bag. Sunglass hut does NOT let you down they even include a certificate of authenticity from Gucci.

Yeah, definitely ask for it, sometimes in storage it's not in the case and they forget to put it in.

The emerald is so much prettier irl!!

I bought mine from Nordstrom rack and came in the same case that he is showing, etc but I winder if they are real or fake because it says made in Japan🤷‍♀️

Nordstrom would only sell authentic items and Gucci is now made in both Italy and Japan, usually metal frames are the ones made in Japan. When the company safilo made Gucci, it was all Italy, but for the last years it's made by kerring eyewear, now its both.

If it's the ones made my Kerring Eyewear then yes, but if it's the older ones made by Safilo Group, then it would be different packaging.

Does a pair of glasses that say AR after Gucci on the left lends mean they’re fake I looked it up and it said it stood for anti reflective but I’m not sure

Hi I ordered Gucci Acetate Sunglasses from Farfetch and they came with purple velvet case, silky bag and cloth but no cards or care booklet. Is that normal?

I've heard now a few people who didn't get any cards when buying off sites. This does not mean of course they are fake, but Gucci's should always come with a at least the authenticity card, then sunglasses will come with a additional booklet about info on the lenses. It's also hard not to send the card with the item, when they come from Gucci, the eyewear will be in a kerring plastic bag, with the card inside it. So unless it was a store display or maybe it is fake, no reason not to send it with the eyewear as it's conveniently placed already. Also the thing is, the card is nothing unique, they are all exactly the same, so no serial number on them or anything, so it would be pretty easy to fake anyway I guess.

@@anamoran1900 Oh yes, I also have "Made in China" on my case. I have optical frame. On a frame is "Made in Italy CE". The price was 260 EUR from optical shop. Also there is no that plastic black card, only the white certificate. So I think it is fake, good, but fake.

So i am looking to get a gucci glasses who have the same things and case on a internet site, but the price is not the same as the original glasses the glasses are 60 euro and i guess it's a replica, but the question is, are they a good replica for the price or pass? :D

If you buy Gucci glasses for €60 then yes they are not just fake but probably made in Asia for about €3.00 so the quality will be totally rubbish!!! What's the code on the side and I'll tell you when they were made etc..

Personally I would pass due to the fact that the lenses will be of a very poor quality and that in it's self is dangerous and also they quite possibly could have been made for about $4.00 in Asia somewhere.

Got mine from my optometrist it came with everything besides the cards

Same here. Mine came with no authenticity card. I asked for it and the tech told me they sometimes throw them away, but she wld call me when found. I have a virtual appt with Gucci tomorrow and will find out if their fakes.

You yourself no. The store where you buy it from would, but honestly no one fills that out, its honestly pointless. If there is a warranty issue, if you go direct to Gucci, think they just ask for the invoice, not the card as that anyone can write on it and fake it, if you have a warranty issue, always try and go to the place you bought them, Gucci prefers dealers return items for warranty rather than direct from customers. Honestly have never seen one filled out, maybe direct at a Gucci store, but again, pointless if filled in anyway, just a gimmick in a way to make you feel better.

I got a pair but it came with everything but the certification card. It was $700 Canadian. Should I be worried?

It sucks when you cant find what you want in a store... buying online is good, usualy cheaper and all kind of variety looking at many websites, but if something doesnt fit you have to return it, its annoying, trying things out in a store is much better.

Muh huh.... the luckiest consumers are those who are fortunate to try on in a store what they decide to purchase, and then proceed to purchase it online. In hindsight I could have done this with Carolina Lemke (I live pretty close to one of their branches) and perhaps saved myself up to US $28.5

In my country this case is like the latest of Gucci in actual facts its like 3 yrs ago just like this video. I am so being lied for this matter! And one pair of reading glass-metal frame Made In Japan priced at USD$550 not included its glass from Zeiss Germany and it cost around USD$75!! Arrrgghhh... is this worth buying?

All Gucci metal frames are made in Japan due to the higher grade of metal and Craftmenship and all plastic or Acetate frames are made in Italy.

Eyewear Nerd so my brother has Gucci eye glasses and it didn’t come with the certificate do you ask for it or do you just get it with your glasses he got them he picked up his glasses at the eye doctor

I absolutely hate this case. It looks very feminine and gets dirty easily and is hard to clean. Considering most people will throw this case in a bag or purse it seems like a magnet for germs and dirt. I also live in a very humid place and when I didn't use the case for a long time, it actually started to grow mold on it!!
