@coochieman7887 yes some have very short memories on how bad they are with their lots of promises but lack of delivery. Inflation was rampant in the 70’s thanks to them and we had the winter of discontent. Fast forward and we have the same crap involving houses which they created a ridiculously overpriced market making virtually impossible for millions to buy a home thanks to their lax rules and easy borrowing. Anyone thinking life will get better once they’re in will find it’s the usual breadcrumbs for the workers as they continue to erode the standards of living for those voters. My mother is in her 80’s so has witnessed the little they have done for their loyal followers, she also says they haven’t really been Labour in the true sense since not long after the party’s inception. Having lived through both party’s in charge I can confidently say that neither have the public or country’s interest at heart and are complete dross.

At the moment any inflation is just greed from the business. Last weekend I noticed that an artisan bread in Lidl went from 99p to 1.09p, knowing that the flour and the energy costs went down nearly 50% compared with last year something is really fishy here. There are hundreds of products still going despite the energy and the cost of many commodities went down a lot in the last 12 months.

Due to the vast majority of UK people being on fixed rates, the effect of any interest rate cut creating a "feel good factor" of people seeing more money in their pockets is massively overblown by many commentators.
