    Ps may not change drastically in terms of content from last year. However hard to say whether you should change it or not without knowing the focus

    Upto 3 years of graduation most programs will consider you recent.

    Does volunteer work for a few months after mbbs count, or add value to the CV? Or can said time be utilised better?

    Volunteer works helps during the interviews but does not help you get interviews

    For an IMG who has already taken step 1,Will the step 1 score be visible to programs should the person apply to the say 2023 match cycle? Since it will be pass and fail then

    As Dr watts mentioned regarding the research does it have to be in the US or can the ongoing research be in the homecountry as well . Will it hold the same value?

    Step 1 scores will still be reported for applicants that took it before it switched to pass/fail. This seems like it allows for bias when choosing a residency applicant since you have a specific number for one candidate and just a pass/fail for another. Do you think this will be the case?

    Yes step 1 scores will be reported if you took before pass fail.

    @@cma44444444444444444 if you are asking subjectivity will creep in that is possible everything else being equal. So a 260 will be in isolation be better than a pass but thats where ck step 3 research etc could make a difference.

    if you are applying in Sept 2022 then Dec 2021 or so will be best for detailed guidance

    @@rachnasingh4213 we will start step 1 mentorship soon so depending on if you want that you can take it as well but yes match mentorship you can take in December 2023

    No, man. Know lots of people who went in 3/4 years post graduation. But yeah, what you did after graduation does matter

    I have graduated this year February, aiming for 2022/2023 match, still have to give both steps.By latest when should i be done with 2 externship (8 weeks) if i apply with your service in 2022 ?
