Scientists say 2023 is on track to be the hottest year in recorded history. Millions of people across the United States, Europe and parts of Asia have been impacted by heatwaves. Each year, thousands of people die of heat-related causes, and experts warn the figure could drastically increase by 2050. CNA’s Julie Yoo looks at what extreme heat does to our bodies.
