➤➤Transcript (Partial):
So, your attention, for example, is mediated by unconscious forces. And you know that. You know that perfectly well, and this is another Freudian observation. You know, if you're sitting down to study, for example, your conscious intent is to study. But you know perfectly well that all sorts of distraction fantasies are going to enter the theater of your imagination non-stop and annoyingly. And-and there isn't really a lot you can do about that except maybe wait it out. You'll be sitting there reading and your attention will flicker away. You'll think about, oh I don't know, maybe you want to watch Jane the Virgin on Netflix or something like that. Or maybe it's time to have a peanut butter sandwich. Or you should get the dust bunnies out from underneath the bed. Or it's time to go outside and have a cigarette. Or maybe It's time for a cup of coffee or it's like, all these subsystems in you that would like something aren't very happy just to sit there while you read this thing that you're actually bored by. And so, they pop up and try to take control of your perceptions and your actions non-stop. Maybe you think well, this is a stupid course anyways, why do I have to read this damn paper? And what am I doing in university? And what's the point of life? It's like, you can really-well you can really get going if you're trying to avoid doing your homework and-and then you might think, well what is it in you that's trying to avoid because after all, you took the damn course and you told yourself to sit down. Why don't you listen? Well, because you're-you're a mess. That's basically why. You haven't got control over yourself at all. And no more than I have control over this laptop. Okay, so there's the memory function of the unconscious and there's the dissolutive function-that's an interesting one. The unconscious contains habits, once voluntary, now automatized and dissociated elements of the personality which may lead a parasitic existence. That's an interesting one. I would relate that more to procedural memory, you know, so what you've done is practice certain habits, whatever they might be, let's call them bad habits and you’d like those things to get under control. But you can't. So maybe when you're speaking, for example, you use “like” and “you know” and you say “um” a lot and you've practiced that so you're really good at it and you'd like to stop it, but you don't because you've built that little machine right into your being, right? It's neurologically wired and it's not under conscious control and anything you practice becomes that. It becomes part of you and-and that's another element of the unconscious, a different part. And then there's a creative part which is that, well, you know, you're sitting around and maybe you're trying to write something or maybe you want to produce a piece of art or a piece of music or maybe you're just laying in bed dreaming and you have all these weird ideas, and especially in dreams, it's like what-where do those things come from? And even more strange, one of the things that's really weird about dreams and almost impossibly weird is that you're an observer in the dream. It's like a dream is something that happens to you. Well, you're dreaming it theoretically. So how is it that you can be an observer? It's almost like you're watching a video game or a movie, but you're producing it, at least in principle. Although the psychoanalysts would say well, no not exactly. Your ego isn't producing it. Your unconscious is producing. It's a different thing. It's a different thing. And of course Jung would say, well, it's deeper than that. The collective unconscious might be producing it...

Saving typically results in you earning a lower return but with virtually no risk. In contrast, investing allows you the opportunity to earn a higher return, but you take on the risk of loss in order to do so. Not reaching a million before retirement feels like an unfulfilled retirement.

I've come to realize that the key to amassing wealth lies in making sound investments. I purchased my first home at the age of 21 for $87,000 and sold it for $197,000. My second home, acquired for $170,000, was later sold for $320,000, and my third property, purchased at $300,000, fetched $589,000, with buyers covering all closing costs and expenses..

From what I understood, you can't. You can however, consistently practice or do things to minimize the habits and eventually make it a part of your unconscious self.

Self control in my experience is at its upmost when a cow has calved perfectly but refuses to stand still in order for the calf to suckle the most important drink of its life, so that’s when you summon up the courage to assist knowing full well you will get kicked and knocked over, not only that if you push the calf towards the teat it goes into reverse, if you pull it towards the teat it goes into reverse, to make matters even more interesting is the fact that the calf is still covered in birth fluids basically the best lubricant on the planet , so self control is very important its stops me from beating the calf to death with a shovel then if I’m not by now on the floor sobbing for breath i would then turn my attention to the mother giving her the same treatment, may i just add that this has never happened i have always been successful in getting calves nursing when the need arises, but in the early hours of the morning i have certainly thought about it, plus i can never find a shovel when i want one.🐮🇬🇧 ps so i believe that is a good indicator of self control on my part and yes this story is true this does happen to me.

Presently we are just coming to the end of calving 350 limousine cows plus 60 first time Calvers therefore have been to hell and back yet again, but the spectacular results are more than worth it, the temptation to incorporate the shovel still exists but i am still able to suppress the temptation.😂😂🇬🇧👍

Self control is where you keep every horrible thought sarcastic quip and impulse locked deep inside towards people you despise in favour of a long term prosperty or goal. Maintaining sensibility against the overwhelming desire to burn down the monuments to misery. In short i hate my job.😢. And i hate my co workers.

What is so bizarre for me is.... it's when I'm calm and mono tone where I lose self control. If am loud amd yelling I'm in full control. When I get quiet it's bad. It's funny because I said I'm autistic so when I talk momo tone for some reason I think they can understand me better it's because they better be understanding me better. It's serious.

Because sin is in the world, this is a strange fornominal, only through jesus who died for us , do we obtain gods grace, for god loves us so much , only through jesus will we know of gods love, and are free from the chains of sin, as long as we are then selfless, and do not live by the ego. My perception comes from where i am standing, it may in fact look different from anothers, perception, jesus came for all man kind, it is in him through him that we can see christs conciousness, and therefore, those that already speak of gods love, have it already, it is those that follow their own ego, who are selfish and only for themselves that the only way their hearts can be changed is by coming to jesus, those that already who are selfless, already know of gods love, and speak of it. How wonderful that we can all obtain gods love, through the cross, if in fact we want it, for it is a free gift. We all have a journey in life, some are on different levels of life, if the world , was to end which it is not, but god forbid anyone who threatens this, because god is love, and does not want any to perish, but those that threaten this world , will fear the lord, for it is his world his creation, believe me you would not want to go there, for there would be no turning back for those people. We can look forward to a better world for our children and their children, please take heed, im aware that a meleavilant sorry cant spell being seeks to distroy the good in this world by encouraging the ego in a person, which therefore becomes more and more selfcentered and therefore crosses the line into the evil that we see, this could well be caused by rejection, causing the manifestation, of bitterness, revenge, and controlling behaviour, out to avenge, society , for what they see , or have percieved , they are just intent on power over others. But we should be free .with love jdx 🙏🙏🙏💕
