The 1970s a great reprint period! I read these issues with enthusiasm and enjoyment. Always been a fan of anthology books and what added to the attraction for me with these Marvel reprints was the head gallery inside the top corner Marvel Comics Group box. The Fantasy Masterpieces are great reads😎👍!

Agreed! You were guaranteed to get a different gallery with each monster issue and i am just as addicted to these artistic back issues as i had been back in the 1980's when i started collecting. Thanks for the insightful comment!

@@genxcomics2465 Another cool attraction to the pre hero monster titles was the scientist protagonist in some stories who you now can identify as a prototype for Reed Richards and Hank Pym , the more adventurous combination than a Tony Stark and Bruce Banner as main characters.

Thanks for doing this video I'm a big fan of marvel horror comics It was a big hit for me even if it wasn't a big hit for marvel. I own some of these issues. But I also own other marvel horror comics from the '70s as well

Thanks for the comment. It is unfortunate that this genre has been the 'red headed step child' vs their super hero counterparts. Most of my collection is HORROR believe it or not but i am very picky about only picking up highest grade where i can find best prices possible if buying.
