This used to be the Mariner Inn Restaurant. I went there with my family as a kid in the 70's and it was still going into the 90's.

The Brine never took off after being Bayview. It's a great location that should not have any issue being successful with the right management. A great place to relax, drink, eat and share some good food. Can't belive they would not want a resturant/bar there in the Crest. All for more condo's, that's really sad! Guess the Wildwoods will never learn!

Awful to put in more stupid condos and tear up the marsh

Sad to see this happening and surprised they are being allowed to build that far into the marsh.

sadly yea. I wish they would bring one more back!

My family always went to the Mariner Inn every year when we were there for vacation. It was our big night out. And Wildwood Diner every morning for breakfast.

question for you: when driving in and out of North Wildwood on route 147 through the Grassy Sound---if you look north about 80-100 yards, you will see a concrete bridge crossing parts of the sound. was this part of an old road? trail? any idea?

HI Joey I miss the Bayview I would go there every time I'm in Wildwood I think thay should just tear down everything from north Wildwood to diamond Beach and build one big condo unit for the wealthy

The Bayview was LOUSY. Never went to Brine, but if it was anything like the Bayview, no wonder it closed. Only Place I go to in the wildwood's is Owen's Pub. I prefer to Stay & dine in Cape May.

Shouldnt be allowed past the blue print espcially the marshland area. Must be some greased wheels for this project!

Brine looks like a turnpike generic rest area! And the name is lame too. I walked around the place and wasnt excited at all!

it’s true. ever since i saw your grandma beat you in cold blood over drinking her lemonade at the brine i set a goal to destroy this place.

My grandparents on my dad's side use to go there back when it was the Bayview. As well as my parents then myself and two brothers. The Brine was ok but no Bayview. Sad to see it go. I hope it remains a resturant.
