One thing I am REALLY hoping for is "situational dialog" where characters will have banter or chatter mid fight based on WHO they are fighting. Like freeza badmouthing the monkies if they are fighting a saiyan. Or goku showing pride with a "wow gohan, you've gotten really strong" when fighting gohan and goku drops to yellow bar. Stuff like that. It would add sooo much atmosphere to the point of online matches feeling like story missions.

Raging blast 2 had story mode dialogue happening when u put the canon fighters against eachother, but if u are talking at begin and end that may be skipped nowdays Xenoverse has it but it only focus on your camera for some weird reason

“What if?” scenarios is on my checklist.

Costumes and joke characters. We got unlockable customization items in Ones Justice 2 (same style of game) and it really helped give a reason to keep playing. I loved making different fits in that game to the point of encouraging me to try out different characters that I otherwise wouldn't.

You read my mind for the characters such as Moro and Granolah. Hopefully we'll get to see them when they're adapted to the anime. I feel like the Angels should be left out of the roster for sure. IMO, we haven't seen enough from them to make their movesets logical.

There’s a small chance they’ll add them, I mean it wouldn’t even be the 1st Dragon Ball game that includes Manga Content, afterall Z Kakarot adapted the Buu Arc from the Manga into the Game.

Good video btw bro. Definitely keeping the excitement up as we wait for the game to come out. Now you made some good points about non flying characters. But I believe they made sure Hercule was confirmed in the trailer to hint at other non flying characters being in the game as well, or characters who aren't as powerful as the mains. People like Roshi or many Dragon Ball characters. I'm more so curious about if we see what if characters return. Like SSJ 3 Vegeta & LSSJ3 Broly.

I NEED the to have amazing menu designs and have the characters talking on the again too. You're on the training menu and you have Roshi, King Kai and Whis for beginner, intermediate and advanced trainings. The Zenos are on the "delete save data" screen. They'll come close up on the screen "Are you sure? Are you really really sure?" like they did with 17 making his wish and then erase your data. I just need that type of charm back

For DB Sparkling Zero I wanted to be battle damage in the game, a bunch of characters, I would like to see the what if continuities and this one’s a stretch, but I’m wouldn’t mind if they had a CAC mode

Personally I think we NEED to get more of the deep cut characters. They've been working on this game for eight years, show me how much effort went in, show me the most ridiculous cast of characters in a fighting game ever! I want Frieza Soldier, I want Saibaman, Cell Jr. etc. I want the villain of each of the Z films, I want Arale and Tao (both normal and cyborg). I want Bardock's entire team, and great ape forms of all of them. I want freakin' Gine! I am completely cool with over half the cast of this game having a lot of similar and repeating move sets. Full Power Energy Blast, Full Power Energy Blast Volley, Super Explosive Wave, etc. being generic attacks can be spread across tons of characters who've never been given enough time to shine to show their unique abilities, so just apply those and that saves on work. I don't want so much quantity that it effects quality, but I feel like in eight years of development time they should've had enough time to polish this game beautifully, and then spend tons of spare time just putting in shit-post characters because that is part of what makes Tenkai Tenkai! If I can't play as Yajirobe or Devilman, is it even a Tenkai game?! As for DLCs, I'm fine with Daima characters, Super Dragon Ball Heroes characters, and Xenoverse characters being DLC. Things that go beyond Classic, Z, GT, and Super, no qualms about paying extra to play those if you want to, because that's up to you, but I don't feel they should be charging DLC for anything from the core franchise, unless it gets added AFTER release. When they release the next Super movie inevitably, I don't mind paying for a pack of 2-5 new characters from that film, but I don't want to pay money to play as GT Trunks, Tarble, and General Blue, anyone tied to the franchise proper (including GT) should be built in. Now I am not unrealistic, corners may need to be cut here and there to achieve this, but like I said about sharing moves, I don't mind. I also don't mind if there is less dialogue interactions that are unique outside of more major characters, or at least people who've actually interacted. Re-used victory poses or standard move sets (like punches and kicks) won't bother me if it's a bunch of generic Saiyans and frieza lackeys that share move sets. But seriously, pleeeeeease don't give us a roster of 150 characters and say we're good. If it's not more than 200 characters plus tons of unique forms I'm going to be disappointed. I'm not crazy though, I'll still love and buy the game, but it will have missed the mark of having that Tenkai level of ridiculousness I grew up loving. There was just something about playing Frieza soldier #1 against Super Saiyan 4 Super Gogeta that gets the serotonin pumping.

Devilman what if against frieza and cold I saw a secret detail of devilmans devilbeam and it actually deals more damage to characters who are evil and I hope they have that kind of stuff in BT4

Other outfits for characters, what if sagas, beam struggles and hopefully takes a page from the raging blast series with what if transformation and make them actual transformations that you can have on characters

I definitely hope we can customize loadouts to a degree. Doesn't need to be nearly on Xenoverse type level and frankly, shouldn't be. But it should be diverse enough that you can have multiple viable loadouts for each character despite them not being a main character that showcased various moves. Even to the point you can include what if things like super saiyan Raditz or Nappa to make fans hyped up. You don't have to do every what if imaginable, but just some to throw in a bone or two.

Do you think they will add tambourine and drum for the dragon ball side of things or if they will add them as DLC as part of a original dragon ball pack?

I really want to see what if like what raditz turn good or something different I am excited to see what else this game does when it comes out

For me i am hoping what ifs continue and possibly we get what if characters like what if gokhan potora fusion happened in the buu saga as a secret character and buu vegeta absorbed as a secret character too possibly. Maybe a very small possibility of some db heroes representation? But either way i really want every/most character to have dialogue with each other like frieza meeting goku black or perfect cell meeting goku black so on.

7:21 Dr. Wheelo and Hirudegarn might end up making the cut actually depending on how much effort the roster will have. However, I would see Hatchiyack and Dr. Raichi as DLC.

Technically, Paikuhan isn't a Movie character, since he got first introduced in the Otherworld tournament arc

It won't happen in any game ever probably and won't even be that visually impressive but if we got stage transitions and could do stuff like say fight our way into another diemiension ala Gogeta vs Broly I'd really like a instant transmission diemiesion arena so you could recreate the fight with meta cooler from the movie

Also on the subject of a hubworld I'd be happy with it if it kinda presented itelf like the adventure mode in BT2 with it allowing you to pick a character and giving you the map to move around so you can select game modes or join up in online matches or tourneys, otherwise its eh I could take or leave the one we have in Fighterz tbh as much as I love the game overall

It does make sense like DBS Gohan compared to Z Gohan and Ultimate forms being separated in early games Goku should have alteast 3 versions(Z, Super and Ultra Instint forms)

I want Chi-chi to be a playable character and the version from the 23th world martial arts tournament, the one where she fought Goku in the first round. *NOT* the version as a little girl in that weird armour bikini thing that’s very uncomfortable to look at, seriously why that version of chi-chi and not the one that actually fought?

Honestly it would be pretty cool if they had a devilman into the game.😺

Honestly Spike Chunsoft making Jump Force gives me hope that manga characters and forms will be in the game because that game had a lot of manga only content.

@@JohnnyFish971 yeah, but imagine a combo maker type set up where ya can take bits and pieces of different characters fighting styles and [if the custom character is physically similar to the character who's moves you're trying to use] You could then have a saiyan for an example, with a Melee style that's a cross between Tien and Bardock for example. THAT would be fun in my opinion

As i commented to another commenter: They can add Zeno in the story mode: hOW?! Zeno is frastruted by watching the fighters to live the action and he is prohibited from using his actual surge in fight mode. So he requested for a solution from... GOKU!😮 Not from Grand Priest itself. Goku request from him to wait for the answer. Goku teleports back to Bulma's house. Bulma had organised the celebration for Bulla's 10th birthday party. So Goku and Vegeta had already mastered ultra instinct and ultra Ego. Majuub maybe exists but not because Buu sacreficed his body but because both Buu and Uub meet officially and after a few sparring times they felt like they " miss each other" . So they merged using the Majin Buu 's ability but an extra ritual by Old kai help them to sychronize their minds so they both live like roomates in the same body. When Goku dropped the problem the people started to think about the solution. The Merged Majuub stated: As Majin Buu can split and replicate himself the clones can sychronized and feel each other 's feeling. Goku told to Zeno . Zeno told to Grand Priest. Grand Priest states that Zeno's energy can not split like the demon's , this might put in danger the multiverse 's balance. Then Goku or Bulma stated that When evil 21 created clones and created a fuzz their bodies can replicate original people 's movements. Grand Priest stated: so you can create something Zeno's SPARKS can use them as a vessel?! Bulma: I don't but i know someone who knows. ( Thinking of the revived 21) The clone's body will look like a parody of the original characters ( Goku, Vegeta, Frieza, Broly, Gohan, Cooler, Krillin etc. Not a majin thought). When ZENO'S SPARKS enters the bodies, the characters would start to wake in rage and mutante into different variants. 🎉

What if scenarios were if you change one thing then it makes a lasting change on the whole dragon Ball story like for example if raditz lives how would that change the story all the way to dragon Ball super/gt, not just a short what if.

If a single Daima character gets in im gonna be so pissed, it would be a massive waste of dev time and a character slot

There’s no logical reason this rooster shouldn’t include every major fighter from dragon ball to the black frieza arc and all the movies and specials. I’m surprised that none of the main 3d games have started the story mode at in the dragon ball era or destruction of planet vegeta.

KO hope you do What If Future Trunks unlocked Super Saiyan Rage early? What If Broly and Kale were born in each other’s universes? What If Bulma made her wish before Oolong? What If Cabba was Vegeta’s son? What If Pan was Goku’s daughter? What If Piccolo trained Videl?

DBS Movie Broly is already in the trailer Bro. Now as for Giants I feel like they will return. Bergamo is a Character who turns Giant and we already seen in the game trailer. Something to think about. Tenkaichi games never gave us a character who is limited or missing it's other forms like Xenoverse did. I like Xenoverse don't get me wrong. Just always found it strange we couldn't get Characters like Imperfect Cell. 2nd 3rd form of Frieza or let alone a Frieza who can transform into Golden form. So taking that into consideration I Highly doubt Bergamo will be in the game Without being able to become giant.

I better see orignal Dragon Ball characters. I also hope they add the Z items from BT3 and RB2's move customization.

​@@josuke5966 Yep, you're right. People thought it won't have as many base forms since it's a remake and they needed to cut stuff. Though I was hoping they would even before the trailer (commented in other video about it too) since that help set the powercreep even more in BT3, so I'm glad they ended up doing that. Lol XD I think it make sense for Super to have only 1 cause after SSJG, Goku base never gotten any major powerup plus no big timeskip either so I wouldn't be surprised if that 1 Super Goku is all the new base Goku they will add. Lol XD

@@josuke5966 Still better than having 80 or 100 though if you ask me, and as many transformation there are for them, I doubt those 2 gonna take halt of the slots when the roster is 164 (unless there's multiple base Goku from Super too, and maybe from Daima too, but other than that then probably not and so far I'm seeing only 1 Super base Goku and Vegeta), lol XD

Dragon ball z bt4 needs Its blocking and countering system to work the same way Split screen vs mode Player v player Player v computer Computer v computer 1 v 1 - 5v5 2 v 2 tag team Its tournament needs to be in it. Offline and online Online modes: Tournament of 8, 16, 24 players Tournament of power mode There should be a mode to train with the computer and it learns the way you play the more times to train with it. What it learns can be used in a simulation type of battle where you level your character up to add perks like in BT3 and have it fight with other players characters
