The initial phase is physical attraction and it's very important for a healthy relationship later on. That's how nature works so that we can procreate. The fact that someone sees you as the object of their desire, doesn't lower your value. Your self-limiting beliefs and your weak boundaries do.

The responses may be well intended but I don’t think y’all really are empathizing or understanding OP’s comment. She clearly said that they wish to do “nothing more” with her and see her as a sex object. Meaning she already vetted these men and realized their true intentions, and no, it’s not flattering lol. Yes, physical attraction is important and CAN be flattering… but let’s not pretend that there aren’t men who only wish to use women for their bodies. Women shouldn’t have to cross their fingers and hope that a man “sticks around” after giving it up. Boundaries do need to be established and obviously the frustration of being seen as nothing but a sex object doesn’t lower OUR value.
