Great video! I needed this before I closed on my house. I had a great lender who went above and beyond through the whole process even on Saturday when I needed him. I got frustrated having to send paperwork over and over again and explain things multiple times but I held on and now I’ve had my home for over a month now. Just like the video says do what is asked and keep praying until the end. 🙏

I am counting the days until they say “Clear to close” I have faith everything is going to work out. We must be strong all the way through the process. I am late to the party, and I’m sooooooo glad I came across this video, I am in condition approved stage, but most of my stress came from my lender, everything most sound like they deal or dealt with going through underwriting was my experience before I even got there.. lol, which I think paid off when I made it to underwriting, she asked for a couple of explanation documents, which were something I could get done back right away, but I’m still sitting on the sidelines because I’m waiting on a new build and I’m hoping to close end of September, but I’m glad I can woosa a lil after watching this, you ladies asked and answered questions and concerns. Thank you for sharing!!!!

Thanks for watching, for new builds they will likely ask for updated documents when they have a firm closing date, about 30 days prior to closing.

This is the kind of in depth information we all need when we are in the stressful process of trying to get a mortgage loan. The underwriter is behind the scenes, so we don't get to ask them questions. I have learned that lenders aren't realtors and realtors aren't appraisers or inspectors. They all know their job, but they don't understand all the important things that the other person does. We need the facts "from the horses mouth". Thanks for answering our questions and taking some of the stress out of a complex process.

You were both awesome! Very informative! I'm in the last steps of the underwriting process, and I have to say that this has been the most stressful time of my life. This is my first home purchase and this whole process has caused so much stress and anxiety that it has physically and mentally drained me. Suffering from bad tension headaches because of all of this; but this podcast/content has really helped me understand things and has given me hope and strength to keep pushing through this process with patience. Relax and go on a spending freeze until you close. As long as you are in the same or better financial positions as when you got approved, you will be fine. Congratulation on the home purchase!

@@anavaisrael2032 yes. Just received the appraisal and it's not where we wanted it to be. My realtor is suggesting a second appraisal. If that doesn't work, hopefully the seller will work with me on the price of the house. As far as the loan process the underwriting started 2 days ago. Haven't heard anything yet. Trying to stay calm 😌 Thanks for asking.
