"What does literature mean to you?" Cúirt International Festival of Literature asks treasured writers Sara Baume, Ifor ap Glyn, Eilean Ni Chuilleanain and Doireann Ni Ghriofa to share their feelings and personal interpretations on the meaning of literature.
"At this time of overwhelming global uncertainty is an experience, a universe that I can miniaturise and control" shares Sara Baume.
Ifor ap Glyn reveals in his Native Welsh that "Literature is a unique window on our world".
While Eilean Ni Chuilleanain believes literature is may things including "...how words can enable us to tell the truth".
As Gaeilge, Doireann Ni Ghriofa shares that literature to her is "To open a door is to open a trapdoor and to discover the secret room that waits beyond".
