I think all content is relevant precisely because life is so hard. The silly content is needed to get reprieve and it’s easier to share because most people aren’t offended by it. Look, I took a creative writing class in college and the most important thing I remembered is whatever you are creating - it is for you first - always. Therefore the algorithm is irrelevant. Once you release it - it is now interpreted by the different perspectives of the people of the world. This isn’t a new problem of only creatives in this 21st century but dating back to so many creatives in history. There are billions of people on this planet who have the possibility of viewing this kind of content now. The ones who need it or are likeminded will find you if that is what you want. Keep going. I’m fairly new here and I enjoy it.

I definitely see what you're saying. All my creative writing classes said the same thing: while you're writing, the work is yours. While you release it, it belongs to the reader. Same applies to all creative work. Thank you for reminding me of that actually ☺️ I just feel like the presence of such fast media is making our attention spans much shorter, which then can harm people who create long form content. But i think i even said in the episode that i really enjoy short and lighthearted videos as well! There is DEFINITELY a need for them, especially given how hard life is. Its very encouraging of you to say "The ones who need it or are likeminded will find you if that is what you want.". I really needed this 🤍 It means a lot that you're here. Please let me know if there's anything specific you'd like to see more of!
