Thanks Spa Guy & Trey for another interesting video! I understand why Graceland doesn’t allow people upstairs, but why don’t they video it themselves and feature it in Gates of Graceland? That would satisfy people’s curiosity and still preserve the room as it is. Seems simple to me.

I have the feeling EPE regrets the filming upstairs. The house was not yet open to the public. But it was good it happened for those of us who are curious. Personally, I don't buy the reason that is because of privacy that it is not part of the tour. I think it is more complicated than that.

It doesn't look like it has sunk in to Dean what a miraculous time that he had with Elvis to anyone of us it would blow our minds to have lived like that just for 10 minutes with Elvis.

Thank you spa guy lol you have a hard time keeping him reeled in on one thing lol but we love to hear the true stories that the ones that were with Elvis are the only ones that can tell us about the way things really happened,thanks to Trey also …TCB⚡️

Dean seems like such a cool dude. I met Charlie Hodge once in 1983, had my picture made with him, and he wasn't the friendliest fellow. I saw him get rude with another fan who asked a simple question just a few minutes before I got the picture made. That's the only time I ever saw him in person; maybe he was just having a bad day. Dean strikes me as the type who would always be nice and respectful to Elvis' fans.

Hey Jarno, one year I was visiting Graceland with my brother and his girlfriend and Elvis was home. We didn't see him though. There was a security guy in a brown suit and tie who let everyone come halfway up the driveway and he stood there and answered a bunch of Elvis questions for us. He was one of Elvis' guys. He told us his name, but I can't remember it. He stayed out there with us for about an hour. Super nice dude. He said that at 6:00 am that morning he and Elvis were standing on the front porch talking. It was currently about 10:00 am so Elvis was probably asleep by then. But we did see Lisa Marie and another girl on a golf cart. Lisa was driving it and she came down the left side of the yard by us fans and they both said hi and waved, made a U-Turn, and headed back up towards the back side of the house. They didn't stop. This was in 1975 or 1976. I was tickled that I saw Lisa Marie. I was about 13-14 at the time and determined to marry her when we both grew up. LOL!!! I do know it wasn't Charlie, Red, Sonny, Joe, or Lamar in the driveway. I would have remembered them. I remember the guy pointing out the security cameras on the lawn, and there was one very close to us, and he said, "for all y'all know Elvis could be looking at you right now. He has monitors upstairs and watches sometimes." He was gassing us up. In hindsight I think we all know Elvis was fast asleep by 10:00 am. That being said, I did put on my best look at the camera trying to look like I was hoping to be discovered. Lmao!

I met Dean while was working at a car dealership in Memphis. He noticed that I looked like I might be from the Rock n Roll Era and asked if I knew of Dr. Nick. Of course I grew up in the 50s and 60s and knew of his dad working with Elvis. He told me of stories of being with Elvis and even going on tours with The King. Dean is a very enjoyable guy. Good video.

Hi Billy.. the best comment for me was when Dean said " Elvis was so funny" This means more to me than anything else as those guys had such a laugh and fun times with Elvis. Oh can you imagine that laugh that famous Elvis laugh and his faces and smile .. being with him in his bedroom at Graceland .. PRICELESS

Dean mirrors the bedroom layout just like the pictures of it, in Jeanne LeMay’s book (Elvis, Linda and Me). You can see his bed, (btw, Elvis slept on the beds left side near the window that housed the AC unit.) the console tv between the windows, and the hamburger shaped bed in Lisa’s room, and part of his personal bathroom. If you haven’t seen that book and the pics, check them out, they are great pictures of the rooms upstairs. Great video, love to hear Dean’s stories ❤️

@@michael1997, the book is called “Elvis, Linda and Me” by Jeanne LeMay, Jeanne took picture of the upstairs when she was invited to stay overnight by Linda. Elvis was out of town at the time.

Sorry for being away so long, Spa Guy. Been a little occupied. Plus, a Scottish lady has a Elvis channel that ive noticed, as well. I still enjoy your videos and hope you are doing well. I still remember the camera leading us upstairs at Graceland in the 1981 movie, "This is Elvis," and we never saw inside Elvis' bedroom, but we did see a little of Lisa Marie's room.

Great story Spa Guy & Trey... Thank you for sharing. I know from story that Elvis didn't like to be or feel alone that's why he owned quite a bit of television as a white noise when nobody's around.. I met Dean during Elvis week 2007 at Vernon house Dolan Drive, there's Billy Smith and Jo with Marty and Patsy Lacker.. 🙏 i was young, shy and probably dumb too and still am 🤣 i don't know if Dean remembered he asked me and my bf at that time to grab a Beer and drink at the Bar ? He was very nice with every one. Every Elvis friends i came across were all wonderful , you instantly felt welcome, some that i met then are now has passed. Keep TCB and i look forward to more story of history .

Very nice interview Mr. Spa Guy. Dean sounds like a down to Earth guy. I wonder how he feels about Elvis fans who blame Dr Nick for Elvis death by over prescribing medication! I really think Dr. Nick had Elvis best intentions at heart. Thanks again for posting this!!!

Never heard anyone mention seeing bullet holes inside. Although he shot his black commode one time and that ran water through the floor and made a water mark on the ceiling of the downstairs main entry, you still see a slight difference in color.

I think what Dean meant was the tv was between two windows but those windows face the meditation gardens. The bed would be in the same direction. To the right of the bed would be the other two windows that look towards the gate. My recollection would be from the pictures Linda took and the drawings of the house. I could be wrong but that’s what I remember.

It would be really helpful to us new viewers if you would at least tell us who these people are. You advertise that you talked to Dean Nichopoulos, who describes what the upstairs looked like. Well, who the heck is Dean Nichopoulos? You have mentioned Trey in another video I watched. I have no idea who Trey is. When you were showing the house on Audobon, you were talking to some guy outside telling you a story about Elvis throwing his pocket comb. Well, who was he, and why was he there with Elvis? It seems like informing us would be the right thing to do for new viewers. I know a lot of names surrounding Elvis, as I have seen videos, movies, visited Graceland, and even saw the king himself live in concert TWICE!! But, it would be nice to know who you are talking about. I enjoy your channel, other than this annoying part! Thank you for your work!!

That is actually a reasonable question.. We went with Dean to the Cemetary to his parents grave and decided to just talk and film while we talked and that is what we did..

I would think Elvis' room would be about the same size as the living room.

No matter where or how you place a TV in the bedroom it's as uncomfortable as heck watching it. It's because of the angles of you trying to get comfy and the angle of the TV. That's just my experience in life at age 65. And then on top of all that you gotta deal with the Wife talking and moving around and then snoring. Ugh. You're better off just watching downstairs.
