I drive my car even the emission system is on doesn’t affect the performance of the engine the big problem is if the brake light is on better replace or do it immediately

Have the same issue in my civic 2022 but i drive it always like that is there any problems what will effect?

2015 Nissan Altima. My light came on. Tried the fuel cap. Tried unhooking the battery to reset the computer. Gave up and took to dealership. $1100 later, problem resolved. Stay away from Nissan.

Help: after changing my fuel pump , I got a tighten fuel cap then a check emission system after. Any idea?

Hope this helps component of this is the oxygen sensor, which can sense if the engine is burning too much or not enough fuel. This can trigger the CEL to indicate that the car is either running too rich or too lean, or that there's an issue with the sensor itself

Yeah I took mine to a mechanic cause my light came on and the mechanic gave me the eye roll and whistle. I knew what that meant...$$$$.

I wanted more info on why the emissions light was on so even though there's some negative comments I want to say thanks. I don't know anything about cars but wanted to know what problems maybe causing this so I can understand what the mechanic says when I take the car in. I noticed the whatever's connected to the exhaust (muffler?)is rusted af & wondered if the rust was further in areas i can't see. Not long after the light came on. Thanks again ur info was helpful to me.

hello sir this video was very helpful though, actually I wanted to tell you that we recently got a skoda rapid car which is from 2015 (8 years old) so after 2-3 months there is an issue in the car that icon is coming , but it doesn't feel that it's problem , the main problem is that the gears are not shifting properly like when we on the car it's running fully fine but after some time the gears are shifting from 2 to directly 4 and from 4 to directly 6 so it's really difficult we had shown it to a mechanic but he said that the megatronic is not working and it's price is around 1.5 lakhs so I am waiting for your reply....

Emission system is absolute nonsense !! Best to blank the whole thing.

Also, disconnecting the battery for 30 seconds does nothing when it comes to deleting fault warnings. Where does this bloke get his information?

Could you ensure the mechanic you take it to will not rip you off? You should have thrown that in there somewhere. Believe me, some mechanics will change all the oxygen sensors, the Catalytic converter, the ERG valve, the muffler, and also throw in an air filter to top off his vacation money. Maybe you need to edit this video? No, never mind, just take it to a video mechanic.
