I am a British citizen, but by race I am,25% Welsh and 75% English. If one can call oneself, British Asian, British Afro Carribean, British Scottish , British African, , British Irish ,and British Welsh, those of us whose ancestry going back hundreds of years in the Parish Registers of the Church of England should have the right to call ourselves , British English. This is what we all say among ourselves. To deny the British English the right to call ourselves British English , is racial discrimination against us . This is why we dall ourselves English instead of British. British is our nationality, but within Britain there are a number of distinct racia;l groups , We do all accept each other, but the people who are really English by origin , resent the way the other racial groups seem hell-bent on denying the English the right to be identified as a distinct racial group. WE do not demonstrate like the French, but underneath there is distinct resent ment at the way we ae being treated by all the other groups, most of whom are recent arrivals. Just because you ave come to live in our country, does not give you the right to destroy our culture and identity into a multi racial mish-mash while you continue to maintain your own culture and dress, Denmark, Sweden and Germany are having to deal with the same problem.

Yasmin Kasim The ethnic English are a minority. The English have been replaced by non English. You can be African British and Indian British, but the English have a culture and the English people are white.

@@caller347 that's not true I am half english half Pakistani... If you did your DNA I'm sure your wouldn't be 100% english... I am born and bred here I am immensely proud to be English by blood and by nationality... You'd never question a white Australian or white South African where are their origins from ... The royal family I love them so much but they are not fully english yet they are the epitome of englishness ... So I fear your point is out of fear .. I am very fair for being mixed race but I am so proud you don't understand I have family members who died in the war... It doesn't mean I am not proud to be half Pakistani. My pakistani side are all millionaires and extremely educated people having gone to Oxford and what not... Although they are British Pakistani they are so not what the media portray Pakistanis to be... A lot of the Pakistanis I know are from the village there is nothing wrong in that but they lack education... I've lived in Pakistan and we make fun of these types of people being as they represent us so badly...

@@Rafiawinters You would have to ask yourself what 100% English is first to get that answer > Anglo Saxon or the Norman Conquest would be a good place to start as that was the start of kingdom of England if you can date your bloodlines to them then you are English if not then British will have to do for now

Yeah London isn't British at all! I have a girlfriend who works behind a reception desk at a gym where arabic men come and they all either don't look at her when talking to her or if a male shows up they straight up ignore her and talk to the man...very culturally British not lol. I lived in Manchester before so it's a huge difference.
